To die for!

I find it interesting how whenever Leon Mege's name is brought up on TPF there are ladies that have the need to bash his character and integrity. As a small business owner I am fortunate enough to be able to “weed” out whom I want to work with and whom I choose not to work with. In any case, I believe that certain people are just difficult and I can see the writing on the wall from the first phone call. As is the case with Leon Mege, he is a master at what he does and consequently he has the option and fortitude of choosing not to work with a client if he so chooses.

My wish is on TPF is that when a topic is "SHOW ME YOUR LEON MEGE RINGS" that we could have a few minutes to see the gorgeous pieces that he has created (thank you Swanky & Thimp) and not all the negativity from people that do not like this man or feel they have been slighted by him in some way or another. On a forum when we are already are on page 5 and only two or three rings have been posted I think that many feel the same as myself…

That is why I (and many others) choose to look & post our Leon Mege pieces on another forum or look on his website at his work so the experience is more upbeat and positive.

Sorry, I just had to vent ---as I think I am speaking for many ladies that feel the same as myself about sticking to the topic at hand and are tired of the bashing.

I have worked with him, purchased a custom piece from him and later had multiple interactions with him giving him a second and third chance. If people are going to post for people who are considering using him I think they have a right to know that he has very very mixed reviews from customers. this is not a picture only thread nor is it a positive comments only thread.

I agree - and I have never done business with him. However, I think it is important for those reading this thread (or similar ones) to take what everyone says with a grain of salt. Specifically, the comments of some who, for whatever reason, seem to have problems with almost everyone they do business with.

I have a close relative who is like that...I take his reviews and comments very lightly, since the only common denominator among all of the vendors, stores, hired help, companies, etc., is him. 'Nuff said.

I totally appreciate getting all the feedback of each vendors/brands, but I think Kimber is trying to say since this thread is "show me your LM ring" and OP is looking to see the pictures of LM's work, Kimber is just simply suggesting to stick to the topic. If this thread was "what is your opinion on LM?" , then all these are going to be appropriate.
People here are very helpful and have good intensions, however this thread is now pretty much getting to be more like "should we work with LM or not" than admiring the beautiful pictures of LM creation.

Maybe anyone who want to worn some vendors should create new thread, so we can discuss the good and bad experiences

Valid comments wintotty --xxxxxx completely irrelevant So I want to keep things fair and balanced --and I think I was very fair.

 I'm sure all inputs are appreciated. It is good that one hears the positive as well as the negative before making an informed decision. All threads, even the "show me" threads, cannot help but have feedbacks. I'm completely fine with the comments, good and bad.

I appreciate the jab. Because you know I very deliberately look to waste my money and time on projects and totally want nothing more than to be disappointed and a drama queen.

Thimp, your ring is out of his world! Look at the workmanship on the band!! That is truly awe inspiring indeed! I especially love your earrings - the pave work is phenomenal. I hope one day I can have something made by him too!
