Also....,I have a python oversized shoulder hobo in natural tones that feels so snakey awesome. Etsy, from Indonesia I believe, and it is so fun to run my hands along. Two python zip around clutches from etsy as well, and I have one vintage crocodile trifold wallet I spray painted gold as well. And a gold spray painted crocodile vintage structured crossbody. See a trend?

Bumping this thread in hopes that someone will be able to help me shed some light on my recent vintage find
It's croc, lined in a very very soft leather (lambskin?) not sure. The only marking is "made in France" inside compartment closes with a slide clasp. There are two compartments on each side that are open. I replaced the handles with chains since the handles were blackened and worn.
Any idea of the age? 1950's or 1960's?

I think this one shows the clasp. Sometimes that's helpful in determining the date?

These are the latest things I've been holding... I'm not sure if the Alexander McQueen (green, last one) is leather or crocodile. The 5th one is vintage Hana Morae...i think pony (obviously not exotic, but it's definitely unusual).
