When I saw it peeking from the bottom of the bin, I had to think if I should pull it out. You never know what you are getting when you see tiny eyes....

Congratulations Raven,

I'm glad you bought the bag and gave it a good home. It's awful to think of it banging around a store unloved, getting more and more damaged. People can say and think what they like, but there is no worse crime on this overcrowded planet (with humans) than waste.

My latest baby (Mappin&Webb, circa 1960s), leather lined, with accent trims from different cuts of skin. So far, this is the softest and most supple skin I have ever felt, and the smallest scales. Would this be a baby alligator?

JT Italia HB Satchel in Eel skin. She is gorgeous but pretty heavy with nothing in it. Been sitting on shelf. Her quality & craftsmanship is impeccable and puts other high end designers to shame

I agree, JTI's workmanship is AMAZING!!! I also like how eel's very hardy and no problem in the rain
