This actually looks like stingray skin, there is always the noticeable centre marking and the dotted skin.

Incidentally, I have a BV very similar but in Pourpre (but it's what I'd call a dark red)
How did i do that! Thx for catching it, i knew it was stingray but was thinking of the ostrich Knot and Lauren and crossed my wires. If any mods read this and have the ability to edit, i would appreciate an edit, for accuracy! Thanks in advance if its possible

i hope its ok to ask you,as a Mod, i was in a rush posting last night and l8sted my stingray clutch as ostrich….is there a way to edit/correct that, in the interest of accuracy?
It's python but it has a similar weave to yours. I can't post the bag on this thread because it's more red but I'll find a pic and DM it.
Just report your own post and ask to change the word 'ostrich' to 'stingray' since it may confuse people.
