Alas I have no purple purse to show off, but I do have a sad and tragic story. As a wee lass on vacation, I was permitted a gift while we toured a historic site that featured women weaving goods on looms. I was smitten by a purple hand-loomed bag. It was gorgeous! It was purple! It had fringe and this was the 1970s.
That purple beauty is lost somewhere in the mists of time but I SWEAR I would get it out and carry it tomorrow if only it had withstood the vagrancies of teenage fashion.

That Chanel is stunning. I’d love to see it in person since it shimmers.Purple is such an underrated color for bags. I have two purple bags and I’ll definitely be adding more when the right purple comes along. Both are shimmery and the photos don’t do them justice.. they’re the most beautiful bags in my collection

The bag is from years and years ago but it's so pretty still! It's a little darker than that irl, that photo was taken at night in not great lighting, but I adore it.
A lot of her bags at the time (and probably still?) were faux leather so I was super excited to see a genuine leather bag. It's so soft!
