Shout Out to LOVE Bracelet Owners

Chessmont: I was told by the Cartier SA to polish as little as possible due to the gold being buffed away. She said the bracelets were meant to obtain a patina (i.e., lots of scratches). S.

Hmm I don't wear mine together with my watch for fear of scratches on my watch, the bangle scratches up all the same in time...mine's definitely scratched since I have never taken it off since I've put it on...

I moved my bracelet to my left wrist last nite and will wear today with my watch to see how much beating-up the watch will take. I am already more comfortable with the weight of the bracelet on my left wrist......just hope it doesn't kill my watch.

congrats!!! I don't have one but I love the look of the love bracelet and a watch. Do you wear your watch loose on your wrist. The ticking could be annoying? And yes, the bracelet is supposed to develop a nice patina, but you want to save your watch...

I do wear my watch a bit loose on my wrist. The bangle was great with my J12 - no problems there. I wore it yesterday with my Tank F. and it was......OK. I wasn't too comfortable with how the bangle over-rode onto the crystal. I don't think I would wear it with my Roadster because I know that watch will scratch within seconds. Now I'm thinking of moving the bangle back to my right wrist because after wearing it on my left, I found that it actually fits my right wrist better. Makes sense, I'm right handed and that's the wrist I actually had sized. I did find another really cute Cartier LOVE interlocking bracelet that I"m considering purchasing to wear with the bangle. I don't know why I'm adverse to wearing this bangle alone?? And I feel ridiculous over analyzing the pros and cons of where to wear this bracelet. Thanks again for the comments.

I would switch it to the right. Then you don't have to worry about scratches on your watches especially the roadster. Go for the interlock bracelet to wear next to Love on the right!

I've always worn my Love bangle on the right wrist together with other bracelets. However, I recently moved it on my left wrist and wear it sometimes with my watch and other bracelets. So far, I haven't noticed scratching on my watches, but realized that my Love bangle has gotten more scratches. I think it's mostly because when I type, I tend to lazily hang/move my left wrist on the table or computer (I'm right handed).

Even though I am use to the usual weight of a watch on my left wrist and thought I would enjoy the bangle there too, it really does fit my right wrist better. I think (HOPE) that once I get the second bracelet, I'll be at peace. What a joke but it makes sense to me (for now).
