haha umm.. I believe Let-Trade is a man..from what i've heard..

Anyways, I don't really think it matters what country the bag is in, you have to exercise the same "precautions" regardless, and hope there is a return policy.

IMO I would steer away from buying pre-loved LV from sellers in Asia other than those who have mypoupette reseller status. My sis went to China and was presented with the option of purchasing fake LV in three different grades. Of course she declined, but she was amazed at how others in her travel party took up the offer. One guy bought a whole suitcase full of fakes for his wife who had asked him to buy these. Yuk!

Yup, Let-trade is working on a consignment shop. I bought from him, and he's wonderful.

eBay is not something to avoid if you know what and where to look. Do your research, ask for help to authenticate the piece if you are unsure. I have bought a lot of bags from eBay and got burned 1 time only (and was able to get my $$ back). Try to always pay with cc (especially if you are unsure about the seller) for online purchases for your security.

Fakes are everywhere, not only in Asia. There are a lot of honest Asian sellers as well who sell the real thing only.

Just as an FYI--buying authentic Vuitton (or any other luxury goods) in Korea is super expensive (and has been for the past 4 years or so) because the exchange rate has been so bag. I lived there for several years (btw. 98-03) and prices were outrageous.

Just be careful
