Should I 'settle' for a Picotin 22 if I can't get 18?

I'm really caught between Picotin 18 and 22 (and yes, I've scoured the forum for previous topics). My issue is that I'm nowhere near a physical Hermes store, the Australian online store occasionally has a Picotin up but they disappear within seconds AND most of the colours are neutral. I'm chasing a big hit of colour this time so I'm thinking Ultraviolet, Iris, Rouge Casaque, Rubis, Rose Jaipur, Rose Poupre or similar. Even Orange/Feu may be an option. I'm throwing those colours up as I can access Picotin in those colours from resellers.

I'm finding however that secondary market Picotin 18 are more expensive compared to 22s. I'm guessing that being a hot, cute item, the 18 is popular. However, I'm not even sure if it's right for me. I know I don't want a medium sized bag (I have enough with a vintage Massai and various LVs) so I'm justifying this purchase because I don't have a smallish, going out bag that is on the dressier side. I'm 5'7" and US 6 so do you think the 22 is still going to be smallish and cute? I don't want something that will be bigger than a Speedy 25, which is the only size reference I have. I also don't want to regret not holding out for an 18.

Thoughts please?
It’s a lot of money, so don’t settle for something you are not sure of.

im looking to get a Picotin as my first Hermes bag and im surprising drawn more to the 22! but they are both so cute!
Good luck!! I have tried the 22 but never the 18 and when I got the chance to...though the 18 is cute...a pop of colour would be good for this size but for long term use and pairing in a neutral colour.. a 22 is better...so happy to secure mine last week a P22 in etoupe with palladium hardware..so glad my SA came through before the end of the year...going to use her this week to see my SA again to pick up my bingata puppy twilly which would complement it as well...
