Check out the "bag set" thread. Many amazing collections of black Hermès bags. I have two black Birkins (30 and 35) plus also in black a Kelly 28, a mini Kelly, a Garden Party, and an Evelyne PM - they all see a lot of use and I would add another black Kelly in a heartbeat.
You can wear a black bag with pretty much anything and it's nice to always have a classic bag for any occasion - very worry-free :)

I don't know about where you live, but I can't buy two K25s for the price of a Birkin, so I would just wait on a Kelly sellier til you have your retourné. Personally I prefer Kellys to Birkins, but I still use my black Birkins all the time.

I agree with QuelleFromage. I will keep the black Birkin and sell the etain instead if I can only keep one. I got a B30 in black togo ghw and a B30 etoupe togo ghw in 2019 from the store. I am also thinking of getting a Kelly 28 sellier in black ghw in 2020. If I get the Kelly, I may sell my B30 etoupe.

I love black bags. They are classic and forever bags. My other bags are mostly black including the C18 rghw, GP30, Evelyne TPM ghw, and Kelly 32 retourne ghw. In 2020, I am thinking of adding more to the black color family - Picotin 18 ghw and Evelyne 29 ghw.

My non black color ones are not by choice but what my lovely SA offered to me (mini Lindy in etain ghw, Kelly Pochette Anemone, and B30 etoupe ghw). If it's my choice, I want them all in black in different style and sizes

Sell the Black Birkin and sell the Etoupe one too. You obviously are not terribly attached to either bag and apparently don’t see any use for them. Because of the way you titled your post, and your excellent descriptions of both bags, this thread has already served as advertising for you so you’re part way there already! Regarding your question about the K Sellier, it doesn’t seem like buying two Ks immediately will help you reach your stated goal of saving for your wedding either. Hey all again!
So in my previous post I put up, it was basically like should I sell my black Birkin and pretty much all of you said no as it’s timeless.

However, I just got my Kelly 25cm Retournee in Noir and I don’t think I could order a Birkin again! The strap is just so handy and makes the bag super easy to use! I’ve put a photo here! So now I’m thinking of selling one of my birkins to fund another Kelly but in sellier style(I’ve been offered an a la carte order btw) Both are 30cm, Togo leather. One is noir with palladium hardware and the other is Etain with rose gold hardware.

The Kelly I got is noir with gold hardware. So I’m thinking sell the black as I’ve got a black Kelly?

Hubby won’t allow me to buy another bag as we are saving for wedding/kids. So to fund a bag I would need sell one of the Bs.

Hi hun, it sounds to me like you know which one you want to sacrifice. Even on your last post it sounded like you were over the b30 noir. Now that you have a kelly noir, the b30 is likely redundant. I personally can justify having both black bags, but that is me, and I’m crazy about black bags.

If you have a SO opportunity make it something you love. You collection is very versatile and all pieces you will use forever. A black K, an etain B, and a fun SO. Sounds perfect!
