Hi Thank you I am keeping her.Patent leather is very hard wearing I have had colored ones too from 10 years ago still look like brand new, the black patent rectangular mini is the hardest to get, I would keep it, it wasn't expensive when you bough it I assume? Nothing from Chanel that nice and classic looking will be under $3,000 now
Mini often resales more than it's retail price and extremely hard to get from the boutique, it's the only classic looking flap can be worn perfect length crossbody and shoulder bag unless go for reissue. The mini has the highest percentage price incase in the last Chanel price increase that's just shows you how high the demand is and it is going to be in Chanel's lineup for a foreseeable future. Right now Fashionphile's mini rectangular is around $4,000, the black patent with gold or silver hardware are more than $4,500, holds better value more than any other Chanel bagsYes I would. Although I do like patent, it’s not a classic.
First of all I don’t care about the “resale value” I buy bags to enjoy not to make money. I’d invest in stocks if I wanted to make money. Also the price you see on fashionphile is definitely NOT the price you would get as an individual! You will get usually 30% less than what you see on consignment stores listings. Maybe you will get a bit more if you try places like eBay or Facebook, but then you also have the risk of losing everything to fraud, not mentioning the amount of time and energy you’ll have to put into the selling process...I used to have two mini both in classic color, kept in good condition, sold both and lost quite a bit of money. Now I have a small and medium, they’re so much better than the minis, both in terms of the quality and the looks. My lambskin square mini started to lose structure after less than a year, and the rectangular mini just has an awkward chain length imo, unless you’re very tall. The classic is called a classic for a reason. I do think the price difference between mini and small/medium makes sense.Mini often resales more than it's retail price and extremely hard to get from the boutique, it's the only classic looking flap can be worn perfect length crossbody and shoulder bag unless go for reissue. You bought high and sold low that's why you would lose money, I bought a brand new full set classic medium flap black for 2,800ish, how much do you think I will lose if I to sell it someday? I have bought and sold some Chanels by myself and to consignments, all but 1 made great profits.First of all I don’t care about the “resale value” I buy bags to enjoy not to make money. I personally don’t have time for this kinda stuff, I only want to enjoy my bags, which means buying from boutique and selling to fashionphile, otherwise they’re not called “luxury”.You bought high and sold low that's why you would lose money, I bought a brand new full set classic medium black for 2,800ish, how much do you think I will lose if I to sell it someday? Chanel mini's chain length are different, some are 20" drop some are 23" drop
yeah right, enjoy the bags and losing the money when selling them is luxuryI personally don’t have time for this kinda stuff, I only want to enjoy my bags, which means buying from boutique and selling to fashionphile, otherwise they’re not called “luxury”.
The style is classic no matter what kind of material and color.Yes I would. Although I do like patent, it’s not a classic.
To Enjoy luxury Doesn’t mean at the end you lose money.I personally don’t have time for this kinda stuff, I only want to enjoy my bags, which means buying from boutique and selling to fashionphile, otherwise they’re not called “luxury”.
you must be very wealthy. A regular person like myself who cherishes Chanel style ,gotta think a lot where to sell and fund for new handbags because money doesn't grow on trees. I always manage time for that. It’s part of luxury and I am not tired.I personally don’t have time for this kinda stuff, I only want to enjoy my bags, which means buying from boutique and selling to fashionphile, otherwise they’re not called “luxury”.
