u have been lucky enuff to purchase 2 fab bags-sounds like u r a person who knows what she likes right away. The fact that u r hesitating might mean that u r not really in love enuff with this bag ?

thank you guys for all the opinions, i got it today, here is the picture...we were trying to figure out the leather, it looks like courcheville (sp?) but the SA said it was either that or eposm..what do you think? and is the color gold or caramel with white?
oh and pics of my 40cm vert anis and my 35cm ostrich in gold!

Congrats, it's really a neat bag! To me, the tan leather looks like Epsom while the white looks like...something else. Can't really tell from the pics. Is the tan color possibly cognac? looks kind of dark for gold to me.

And I love love love the Vert Anis one as well! And the ostrich! Wow, you are really making a trip of it, aren't you? LOL

^^^ It's preowned, GraceKelly (it has ink stains in it, which was why Sukkar wasn't sure she should buy it).

BTW speaking of new old stock, there is an H boutique inside a deaprtment store near me that has a FOUR year old Dalvy! LOL

well yes, the white leather is different than the dark...its darker than gold but not quite caramel..its a B stamp so its quite old..they didnt speak a word of english when i asked tem about the color and leather..its unique that they used two leathers...the white is familiar to me but not quite sure which leather it is...
aah tokyo has been great so far..

I can't help on the leather, but Sukkar dear ....what a trip!!! I love the vert anis birkin. I am really glad you've enjoyed tokyo.

Oh no, it's far too ladylike a bag for me, LOL! It's lovely, but I would ruin it, I'm afraid. It's tan, and I can't even remember the leather! Very light colored, not box and I don't believe it's Barenia either, but similarly smooth...it feels like a very structured version of swift, actually, though I know it's not. God, I'm sorry, my mind is a blank right now!

edited: I bet Millstream would remember the details better than I; I know she has seen it too.
