Should I add this Tiffany celebration ring to my collection?

Those are all beautiful rings. I've only tried the channel set half circle and the shared prong ring. Found the shared prong to be very uncomfortable on my finger as the prongs scratched.

Adopted the channel set and have enjoyed it, very much as a right hand ring.

Thanks! Yes, the channel set is beautiful. It's quite substantial on its own, incase I want to wear it without the engagement ring.

Hello @neverenoughbags !
Lovely rings, congratulations.

I am circling around the bands myself and have one question: would a half band be better for dail wear compared to the full band?
I never considered buying a half band until I saw neverenoughbags' pics.

There is much to know the SA would not tell ... please share your intel!

TYIA!

I own a few Tiffany celebration rings and all of them are half. I didn't go with full because they are not sizeable and I am afraid they may not hold up to daily wear.

Same here!

I've been at the store today. Half it is! :yahoo:
pro: half allows me to wear larger stones for the same price. :graucho:

I initally went there to try the full band legacy ring (1,3 tcw).

The SA was very professional: she waited until I did say something because she did not wanted to influence or push me in any direction.
She was almost relieved when she saw how much I preferred the half set over the full band.

The single stones in the full band somehow get "lost", you can't see them properly.
I want to see the actual stones, therefore the half band is the perect choice.

Plus: it is worryfree, when griping something there is always the platin ring in touch with hard surfaces.

My size was not available, now the waiting begins. ;)

PS: DAMN! Should have taken photos.

PS: I came here looking for information on the Celebration rings. Is it ok to continue in a "foreign" thread?
I find it usefull when all the information is available in 1 thread.

Finally I can contribute some photos you might like to see:

the first photo is the celebration ring 3.2 round cut, half band
the second photo is the celebration ring 3mm baguete/round cut, half band

I wanted to buy the round cut, buy my friend, who knows me very well thinks the 3.2 mm ring/round cut does is perfect for an evening at the concert hall or theatre buuuut she would not "see me" wearing it on an average workday, because it was just way to phat, too much sparkle, to chunky, too "loud".
Yes, an extraordinary, beautiful ring, but best worn on special occasions.
Now that i see the two rings on the photos I share her view 100%.

(I might add where this view comes from: wome in the US wear different jewellery, bigger jewellery compared to Europe. Around here, women don't wear big engagement rings, 1ct and larger, like many TPF members do. Women even get engaged without getting a ring. Plus: many rings are 0.2 ct and smaller.)

I never would have considered the baguette cut to be an option for me, but in direct comparison I like the sequence of baguette cut/round cut ring a lot! The baguette cut stones emphasise the round cut stones. The price difference between the two rings is about 7 Hermès carrés. Which makes the baguette even more attractive in my eyes.

Now I just need to make sure the baguette 3mm ring does not feel too small, too invisible. ;)

What is your opinion on the round cut/baguette-band ring?

PS: YES, I do spend a lot of thoughts on a ring that costs 4.600€.
But when it's mine, I know it's the ring I want and I am super happy with what I've got. Plus: I've earned "ring-smartness" buy the time I buy it. Know your stuff. :smartass::heart:

PPS: yes, this is the same store where I was turned off by the greasy stains on the glass cabinets earlier.

Thank you for reading. Now it's time to enjoy the eyecandy.

I really like the round stones on you. The baguettes are too small and they don't stand out as much. I think you could totally wear the round stones band daily. Just keep it simple to wearing one ring on one hand, it really stands out. I have two Tiffany half eternity with round stones and I love them, they are smaller than the one you tried on.

Thank you!

Here you see both, the one with tbe round cut stones is closer to the camera and it 0,2mm wider than the one with the round cut and baguette.
You can tell I am not used to modelling jewellery. :p Sorry for the missing manicure. I did not expect the shooting.

Nevertheless, those photos are extremly helpfull imho. Glad the SA agreed.

I am lucky that around here that the diamon-channel-set is rarely used as a wedding band. Traditional wedding bands are pure metal, no stones.

MAybe these photos help some of you, who are on the route called "choosing the one".

Both bands are lovely on you. I could see why you have a hard time picking one. The one with the baguettes is more unique for sure. Can't go wrong with either one
I love unique!!

The price difference equals:
7 Hermès carré scarves

or:

1 LV Keepall 55cm
1 pair of Ferragamo Vara pumps
1 pair of Ludwig Reiter trainers
1 Maison Francis Kurkdjian Perfume
1 Diptyque perfume
1 Eric Bompard Cardigan

The SA has the baguette ring in my size on hold, because the round cut was not instore in my size.
