It’s been fun playing with coach bags again and I’ve enjoyed carrying them lately. I think most of us started with coach or contemporary designers and left for higher end designers but the new coach pieces are so colorful, fun and incredibly affordable. My wallet is recuperating from this year and I am enjoying it 😉
My most recent acquisition 😍. I went in to look at it in person and it was so stunning. It’s my first YSL bag. I’ve only ever bought shoes from them. From a new customer standpoint it was phenomenal and very personal attention. Only 1 customer was allowed inside and then roped off by security. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured and had some champagne. The CA pulled anything I wanted down and offered to show us some items not on the floor. I explained I usually buy online and she suggested trying on bags I liked for future knowledge on fit. She was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. Truly treated like royalty in there.
Since I have the low key hobo I was curious on this bag. It is so soft and the Light Musk is a gorgeous dark olive green.

Congrats! Ive been eyeing this bag myself, only hesitation is the clasp. While beautiful, I wasn't sure if I'd get annoyed with it or it would be in the way. Has this been an issue for you?
Touching it in person and seeing the sizes made it my purchase of the day. I thought the large was going to be big but it wasn’t, it’s what I would consider a medium 😂
I too worried about the clasp being bothersome but I’m wearing it today as it’s not fitting in my suitcase and it hangs perfectly . You actually don’t have to clasp it if you don’t want to. I have left it unclasped and it is heavy enough it doesn’t move. I don’t think I will clasp it unless needed to store. It hangs so beautifully. The leather is seriously so soft and supple. I’m so glad I bought it , I absolutely love it. I don’t regret the purchase at all.
If you are on the fence like I was, I say go for it!! I have gone back and forth too long on this one. I would definitely buy a second one in this it’s so easy to carry 🥰

Congratulations, I love this one! And also fell for this bag at 1st glance. But… I usually get bags that are light & tight, and close securely. Tried Coach’s Brooklyn 28 and it just wasn’t working. Does it compare?
I also don’t like bags that are open top. I get way too nervous someone is going to steal my wallet and I’ll have to go to the dmv 😂. This bag unlike the low key hobo has a zippered interior pocket and I definitely feel safer knowing I can slide my wallet into it for safety. I walked downtown La yesterday and felt safe with it. I am very conscious about open bags when I carry them though. Not one person eyed the bag unlike my mini bumbag the day before.
As far as the Brooklyn in 28 this is bigger and has way more space. It feels more secure in that I don’t feel like it is gaping at all. The leather is very soft on the ysl. The shoulder strap is also longer. I would say size wise it’s between the 39 and 28. The 28 is pretty small I find and can’t fit much in it or gets too bulky if you try to add too much. I only use the 28 for short run around errands. If coach came out with a Brooklyn 32 it may compare and save everyone some serious money 😂

Thanks Minda!! I was definitely sold on the color of the bag and especially the experience. It all came together. I don’t dress up as I’m pretty casual 99% of the time and yesterday I was in jeans and boots like normal. But that can throw SA’s off. I was wearing an lv bag so maybe that helps 😂. They were gracious and kind. I enjoyed being treated like they wanted to help me find what suited me best.Wow, this color is gorgeous and it looks like such a great bag

New to me Tod's Shirt bag. First saw this bag a few years ago when Nicola Coughlan did a what's in my bag with Vogue and it was love. Didn't buy it because I was a crossbody bag girl and deep in my Louis Vuitton era 😂 Finally found one in an excellent condition and an even better price. Love this color and now on the hunt for other colors 😂😂😂
