Though I'm definitely a duffle girl,I didn't look twice at the haircalf bags because $1400 isn't even a remote possibility for me. I've been loving my textured Rory though so I had been hoping to grab one on the FOS. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized Rory really never came in the colors I was hoping for. Love the marine but don't really need that color. But then I noticed how far the cobalt haircalf had been marked down and was suddenly inspired. I had a couple of requests for pictures in the FOS so let's see if I can get the new tPF app to work!

I'm excited to see her! I also wanted one, which I could of have snagged one at an awesome price
So the thing about this bag is its so simple there's not a lot to take pictures of. It was really important to me that she was slouchy so she definitely passes that test.
I really like to have a crossbody option. I expected this to have a long strap that could be doubled, however this one does not. I also expected the strap to be stiff like the leather ony bleecker duffles which have a similar lacing but this leather feels soft.
The tassels on my American icon are stiff and plasticky but these are softer and though they're obviously coated, they feel more leathery.

The color in these pix is pretty true. Bright cobalt blue. I hope she doesn't shed, but I figure at the clearance price I will just always wear if with the same side in and try not to freak out if she does. She should go great with my fall winter staple of jeans or black pants, black leather jacket and boots or clogs. If I think I will need to wear it crossbody, (like if I bring her with me to Vegas in October) I can always switch out the strap with my black soho slim duffle.
I love the blue on this bag, so pretty! The details are amazing too. Congrats, she is beautiful !
I can get where you're coming from with not being able to justify $1400 for a bag. To me, it's a mortgage payment. Lol. I'm so glad you could get her at a decent price. She is truly stunning. 
Good review! It's hard to know exactly what the color is w Coach...the stock photos often don't show the true color...and everyone knows that Coach doesn't stay traditional w colors names! It's very pretty and in this case is indeed cobalt! The fur likely will shed/rub eventually I can bet but as u said just wear it on the same side and prob solved! All in all I like it.
