She has an abrasive personality that is not super popular right now.
Her daughter is abominable and yet she keeps on getting opportunities. Isn’t it enough?
Sharon had an excellent run and she left on bad term with CBS. In fact, she sued the network.
Who in their right mind would hire her?

I hadn’t considered that. I know he had Parkinson’s and he couldn’t really walk anymore. The articles indicate he had other health issues as well.

That’s just a hunch on my behalf based on what I’d read about the concert and interviews he gave recently. It’s a way to ensure your family is with you and not all over the world… to say goodbye.
ETA that Parkinson’s will qualify you for the program. I can speak from personal family experience on that.

only legal in certain states? oh, just looked and it's apparently legal in CA
