Of course! Obviously my memories are much better than I anticipated. The only thing I never knew was the type of leather that it was. In retrospect I think it was Clemence because it was heavy. What a beauty.

Thx to whoever revived it.I wish I could say - I went through the H journey with my local store. But I cant. I want to be in control of the color, leather, combo and size. So simply put, I went to the reseller route and got a B in pristine condition.

I wanted to share mines. It's been one of the best moments ever lol
I tried my luck in 2018 and was lucky enough to get an appt at FSH, but not lucky enough to get a bag. I tried when I was in Japan in 2019 and was lucky enough to be offered in store a lime k25 phw swift leather. I did not take her home.
I was always intimated in going to my local boutique. I wasn't sure what to expect tbh and then one day I decided to start my H journey near the end of 2020. I told myself if I met someone nice enough to shop with in that day and answer my questions professionally, then it was worth a shot to try and see. I shopped with my 1st SA for over a year and then she went on leave. At the time with shopping and waiting my mood eventually turned into whatever mode lol. I loved everything I bought - usually scarves, shoes, home stuff. I was assigned a new SA during the interim. It took me about over a month after the email/text intro to finally make an appt and meet in person. I was also interested in sandals so that was another reason why I went into the store.
Met my new SA and it was very pleasant didn't think much of it tbh, but we chatted and got to know each other a bit more. Updated my wishlist - no guarantees either as stock is still low.
Got home and tried on the sandals again and thought I needed maybe a bigger size. Texted SA and came back the next day for an exchange.
Just happened to go to this 2nd appt with my cousin. Everything seemed normal at the appt. I didn't think much of anything. Tried on many different shoes. SA kept going in and out of the stock room and took a lot of time. Eventually SA pulled me aside from my cousin. My SA wanted to talk to me quickly and explained this to my cousin. I went to a different area for a private conversation and that's when my SA was like ... I know you said you have a lot of black bags, but I have a black birkin 30. It's really special. Do you want to see it. At this point I was really really calm. I said wow.. really?? I said can I talk to my husband about this lol
I said to my SA..If I see the bag can you hold it for me until I give you an answer. I was given a deadline for an answer if I needed to put it on hold.
Anyways...we wait for the area to clear up and my SA takes me to the room and then later asks my cousin to go into this room.
my cousin " what's going on? why are we in this room"
me: " it's happening"
SA comes back with a wrapped box and does the unboxing. It was really magical and just wow. I fell in love right away. The leather is so so beautiful. It ended up being a black birkin 30 Chèvre de Coromandel. My SA explained the leather to me and how rare it was.
In the end I said "can I take her home with me lol" There was no waiting to discuss with hubby lol
Really loved everything and the surprise of it all. I really didn't think it was going to happen.

Curious on what happened next - did you stick with your new SA or still went back to your previous SA once she is back from her leave?

We have much more in common and the relationship is overall fun and better.
I had/have no interest in playing the game of trying to get a new Birkin from a store. Plus, after much research, I decided I wanted a B in a discontinued leather, so it would be unique. I found a fab B35 preloved, and had it verified, and I'm very happy. I did this prior to Covid, when the preloved bags were much less expensive than they are now!
