Mini Roulis evergrain in noir with GHW - YES!

My first ever H bag and 1st offer thanks to my very lovely SA with whom I started this H journey with a little over a month ago. The stars aligned as I was needing a cute elegant black crossbody for everyday use and had just submitted my wishlist. I forgot to list GWH as something I was open to for the mini Roulis so I am super glad my SA reached out! The information in this forum has been super helpful too!

the color in the picture is so hard to capture on the phone and the Hermes lighting. i love rouge de coeur. It’s such a bizarre story as why i turned down the capucine. My SA was so excited to present it to me and wouldn’t say the color until i came into the boutique. Anyway. He said it was orange poppy and i was wearing my orange poppy evelyn. when he showed it to me i just didn’t get excited. i thought if this is the only Kelly i’ll ever get then I really didn’t want the same color that i had. It turns out it was capucine outside and orange poppy inside. I had red on my wish list and this was orange imo. i did regret turning it down but kept hope something better would come along- and it did a little over a year later ☺️

Well, based on my (and your) impression of Capucine it was the right decision to turn it down! That RdC is amazing. I'm even lusting after that or Orange Poppy myself.

matte gator c18 jaune bourgeon.

Thinking...I love the color (a green yellow for someone who loves green and yellow? It's not for everyone but that's more for me! also I own SLG - a calvi - in this color in chevre and love it).

Hesitation is because while I want an exotic C18 (b/c of the back pocket you get for exotics - so useful to me) I was asking for something ostrich. Not sure about crossing over that gator price tag (it's >30k USD I think?)

Taking a look in a couple days.
