Perhaps it is a regional thing, but I never get offered lighter colored bags
I saw this on another customer and told my SA to put it on my wishlist. I love the soft clemence leather, it's a smooshy, cuddly bag and I can't wait to take her everywhere.I also bought the scarf although I psyched myself up to 'no more scarves' before I went to the store... clearly didn't work
I've not taken her out, so this is all still inside lighting (stickers on - it's a sacred ritual to take them off):

Thanks, love. Was offered another colour as well but I picked Noir coz it’s understated and classic.
She’s dark, mysterious, understated, luminous and chic. Words I used to convinced myself to get a bag in black bcos I’m more of a colour gal. In the end, it won my heart ❤️.
Got this gold mini Evelyne with gold white zigzag strap in palladium hardware as a surprised offer after I purchased a Kelly belt and a hat from a new SA. At first I turned down the offer bcuz I wanted GHW on most of my bags. Also, I’m not really into mini Evelyne bcuz of the simple and thin style. When the SA first opened the box I realized it wasn’t GHW I declined lol. Then the SA told me most of their clients regretted after they turned out an offer. When the SA was going to take it away I wanted to see it again. I then put it on me, took a selfie and I love the strap. Somehow the white gold zigzag strap attracted me very much. I felt that the strap goes well with palladium hardware. My mom also loved it on me so I took it. 
Totally get you. You can’t go wrong with MK in any color. definitely can’t go wrong with MK in croc. But with the matte black I feel like you can even make it casual if you want, YKWIM?
I’m so in love! The one thing I’m surprised about, however, is the date stamp which is a Z stamp. That threw me off for a second. ☺️
