Garden party 36 in Gold

Went to store to check for my nappy bag as a diaper bag but it didn’t arrive. So I asked my SA maybe a Garden Party can serve the same purpose, and he said “why not”. Then here comes the beauty.

I was just offered a Constance Elan in etoupe with GHW, I had originally asked for Noir, but as my SA pointed out, I do have several black bags… I declined a K28 in etoupe before as it was my first QB offer, didn’t go in to see it. I feel like I should at least go in to see this one, right? And if it’s not right decline? So many people say that “it’s the perfect neutral”, but I rarely wear browns and think something like Etain would be better for me… I’ve heard that some people like it so much better in person, but also don’t want to waste my SA’s time if I don’t like it…

Oh you should def go in and check it out. I know of someone who wanted a b25 sellier in black and who thought that etoupe was very mature and hard to coordinate. She got offered a b25 sellier GHW in Etoupe and she went to take a look. She told me it’s the best decision she ever made and she loves the contrast stitching and colour!

All bags on my list were various versions of Kelly. Yet, I got myself an offer of.B30 vert comics touch. That’s because I opened my big mouth and asked about touch bags. One of those moments when I observe myself saying something and think why is this woman and why is she saying this? I think they are stunning, and that’s why I asked, but the price is absurd for the one square centimeter of alligator that you get on it.
Question: does the group think green is a seasonal color? Like plump was huge a couple of years ago then yellow was in, now it’s green. Would five years from now a green bag look like early 2020s?
I don’t mind pop of color at all, but all of my other bags have what I would consider classic pop of color: purple, orange, red.

I have a ML in vert comic. It was not a colour I had asked for and likely would not have put on my wish list, but I wanted an ML and at the time I was stressed about just getting it as a bag. In retrospect, I wish I had waited for something more classic, as I now have a more neutral colour on my wishlist.

I really enjoy the bag now if I am in the mood to stand out/want a pop of colour and it is a lovely colour for Spring; however, I never wear it in Winter. If I were in your shoes, I would wait for something you really love because it is a big investment that could end up sitting on your shelf.

It turns out that the bag I am being offered is vert comics togo with vert jade matte alligator touch which I am assuming is a push offer. I am a total sucker for anything unique. If you tell me there is a limited edition hat but it is too big on me, I will grow my head to fit it.

I think you should go look but I also think etoupe is a borderline waste of a color so if you don’t love it don’t be convinced because other people think it’s great. I have some etoupe things that I NEVER use/wear because a different color always looks better. It is never the best choice for my wardrobe - obviously this depends on YOUR wardrobe!
