B25 swift toile in ecru PHW. anyone seen this before? I’m a bit apprehensive for a toile bag as my first B25 but would love to hear what others think
If you can do light coloured bags it's fine. There have been a few on display in stores worldwide; K25 and B25. Toile is a little high maintenance if you tend to really throw your bags around and will get stains but is ultimately ultimately hardier than we think and you might like the worn in look eventually. One advantage is mine are lighter than an equivalent in complete leather.

Good to know it is lighter in weight. I have a couple of fabric bags from other houses (Prada nylon, Dior oblique canvas) and I do love them. I wonder if stains can be risky since the ecru is quite light

I agree. I have seen these and Ecru is indeed light. Even the beige toile used for Garden Parties can stain and later darkern with use. Choose a full leather first. I love Prada Nylon btw, have for years.

I won't post comprehensive offers anymore, but this might possibly be of interest to those waiting. Was offered 24/24 21 Verso, Cassis Evercolour and Swift, lined in Rouge Grenat, GHW. Very pretty and shows that my new SA has truly learnt what I adore and suits me. Alas I didn't request this bag, so I declined. May it go to a good, loving home.

Thanks for the tag
if you had something different in-mind for your first bag, then definitely don't compromise.

I’ve been aiming for a swift or Togo B25 in full leather for my first. I will keep waiting
Agree with all of the above ! I hope you get your first dream bag soon. I love toile, but not for my first bag. (Standard toile wears well,* but I might not say the same for quadrille or toile maxi bivouac (my two latest toile). I am in the minority, but I prefer swift to togo. Swift takes color beautifully; has great luster and smooshiness (but should hold its shape in size 25); and is hardier than one would think. I find today’s togo drab and dry looking, and this year I refused a togo 25B Bleu de prusse bc it was so disappointing IRL. Fingers crossed that you get your dream bag soon

*ETA: If it helps, I avoid unprotected pens; carrying coffee while walking ; soaking wet or squirting hand sanitizer, freshly applying make up or hand cream while carrying any light colored bag. I don’t have any issue with denim transfer bc I make sure my garments are color fast. (This is an issue with clothing, and I have no idea why TPFers blame the bag). These things are routine care with me, and I don’t think about them, so my toile bags are fine.

Sharing my Evelyne PM in Gris Meyer, Clemence. Got it a few months ago while checking out. Very unexpected since I didn't even have it on my wishlist. Other SAs got really excited about this color when my SA brought it out. One of the other SAs were like wow we haven't seen this color in a long time. I was just ready to pay for my other items and go home because I was tired LOL. It was kind of stressful having to make a decision at the checkout counter but I actually really love this size and style so I recently put a black one on my wishlist as well. Thanks for letting me share!

Thank you for the sage advice. I am eagerly waiting! I love smooth leathers. I originally had a B35 in box that was too big but the leather was phenomenal. I seem to like Togo much more in photos than in real life, but it doesn’t feel as “luxe” as swift. Now I must go wash my Japanese denim to wear it without fear of color transfer on my bags
