I’d add to this that if you do decide that your only way to access this size is to consider resellers rather than waiting for an offer, there are numerous excellent K32s around in a variety of leathers and at price points that are much better than smaller bags.the 32 was the most popular size around 2008 to 2012. . .These things are cyclical, and smaller bags, though no longer the height of fashion, are still the ones that will sell. I have been told that US flagships and Maisons prefer to spend their bag budget on more popular items. (For example, 2023 is the centenary year of the 1923 bolide, and my SA confirmed that there was only one size 31 (black bolide) from January to March of this year. During that same period, numerous 25 and mini bolides were sold.
Hermes still produces speciality push offer items (I’m thinking perhaps embroidered pieces; ones with extensive marquetry; or something like the kelly lakis or berline) in 28 and 32 sizes, as well as B30 and 35, but speciality items would be offered to a limited client pool. I would be very surprised if you are able to find an 32 in regular leather, though never say never loland I strongly suggest going to resale. IMO, this is not even a question of prespend or developing a relationship. An sA cannot offer something that doesn’t come into the store. JMO

I was offered smaller sizes in Paris last October but requested a 32 and got the exact specs I wanted… etoupe with gold hw. It is one of my most used bags. I hope your dream bag finds its way to you soon!

Going to offer another perspective:
Gold on gold is very classic, so that combo will not trend out.
But how much do you carry ? Those mini Kelly’s are very chic but hold VERY little.
They are IMO, like a piece of jewelry or an outfit accessory - very stylish and adorable but not always useful -
Depends on your lifestyle …. And your current collection; and also as @880 mentioned body type- all important to consider, rather than just current bag trends.

Yes the K32 is still out there- that size is not as popular right now, so you may get lucky - you won’t be competing with as many for a K32 - I would say hold out for what you really want.
The sellier K32 looks bigger than the retourne but both are really lovely.
