Birkin 25 Toile. I wasn't sure about toile at first. I had a big smile on face when I saw her in person. So here she is. However, still a little bit worry about how toile wears. Any tip, pro and con please?View attachment 5861004
I have a Herbag in Toile in this color and it’s an absolutely uncomplicated and forgiving fabric. I handled it quite rough during a trip to the US and Paris and it does not show at all. Wishing you lots of fun with it.

Congratulations - Toile is so classic Grace Kelly! Love your bag - enjoy!:flowers:
(Although I am a strictly gold HW person due to my complexion and jewelry - I accepted exactly this combination in a Kelly and a 28 - lol - a bit childish - sorry - but carrying/wearing it, it makes me feel a bit like my beloved Grace Kelly ):giggle:

And I think this combo makes the bag soo versatile:
the bisquit/biscuit colour and cream toile combination makes it soo easy to match it with really all my different camel nuances/shades (sometimes more beigeish, or more golden or lighter or darker ...) and of course with cream white black jeans blue ...

I was offered a mini kelly today - gold with gold hardware. should i accept? i worry that mini bags are trending out..
I would only spend for an Hermes bag if I loved it on its own merits and I don’t really care about trends or resale value. I also refuse more offers than I purchase. I agree with you though that if you care about being on the cutting edge of fashion, mini bags have been trending downward for some time. Even so, many still chose them bc they are light and small. They work well for evening or if you don’t carry much. I also think resale prices are also trending downward, and some mini Kelly bags have not moved at elevated resale prices. But, those resale prices are still significantly higher than those of the larger sizes. Another point against would be that their diminutive size isn’t always flattering to all body types, which is the reason why I go back and forth on the merits. JMO, esp. as I am not a fan of gold on gold hw. But, what is important is not what strangers think. If you love it, go for it, and we will all be thrilled for you

Congratulations on all of your bag offers! I’m wondering if anyone is ever offered a K32? It’s my dream bag but if no one is ever offered one I better adjust my expectations!
the 32 was the most popular size around 2008 to 2012. . .These things are cyclical, and smaller bags, though no longer the height of fashion, are still the ones that will sell. I have been told that US flagships and Maisons prefer to spend their bag budget on more popular items. (For example, 2023 is the centenary year of the 1923 bolide, and my SA confirmed that there was only one size 31 (black bolide) from January to March of this year. During that same period, numerous 25 and mini bolides were sold.

Hermes still produces speciality push offer items (I’m thinking perhaps embroidered pieces; ones with extensive marquetry; or something like the kelly lakis or berline) in 28 and 32 sizes, as well as B30 and 35, but speciality items would be offered to a limited client pool. I would be very surprised if you are able to find an 32 in regular leather, though never say never lol :) and I strongly suggest going to resale. IMO, this is not even a question of prespend or developing a relationship. An sA cannot offer something that doesn’t come into the store. JMO

ETA: congrats @MissTammyB
