I’ve had no such issues with my Dauphine and have seen no other feedback from other Dauphine owners. I recall a TPF member inquiring about that but no one has reported issues. Wear on a bag is subject to how it’s cared for and handled. I have a GF who is rough on everything and she always asks how mine look pristine. I take care of my things.

Bag exchange for a defective MWT neverfull MM (the red lining bled through and turned the white patches pink), and I topped up a bit to get the new blue Escale neverfull MM!
LV really has the best after service ever..
I paid S$2340 for the MWT neverfull MM back in June 2017, my CA commented that the neverfull looked a little strange when I was carrying it in store one day, and offered to send photos to ask if it was a defect. Then she called to say it was a defect and offered an exchange!

So effectively I used the bag regularly for work for more than 2 years, and I just topped up S$130 to get the new Escale neverfull MM (S$2750)!

This is exactly why my hubby do not complain if I buy LV.. :graucho::lol:

Maybe - just maaaaybe - I went a little bit crazy :sad: But I love them all and sold my MWT Bumbag for the Empreinte one. Oh - I want to mention they were all ordered before the Corona theme went so high. Now I will stop to buy and wait what will happen the next month. So no more buys in this situation/year.
