Congratulations! It glows beautifully! Do you happen to know what is the difference in processing (if any) between the cabochon style MOP in the butterfly versus the MOP in the VA? It looks different to me (and very beautiful) so I was wondering how they do that, if you happen to know?

It’s a thicker piece of MOP in some places than my Alhambra MOP pieces and curved on the front, plus it seems to be polished on the front side. The back side is flat and looks more typical. That is just from observation, though. The two butterfly MOP ring and necklace both have a beautiful glow I haven’t seen on other MOP pieces.
Yes that’s what it looks like too. I think it’s beautiful! Congratulations! I know you must be thinking about the matching ring now. I recall you’ve tried it on before and liked it more than some of the others.
Hi. Don’t know the fabric process. But my SA told me it is the same process as Pure Alhambra. They put a layer on top of the MOP that protects it and it shall remain safer with water.

A couple of years ago as I purchased a Magic pendant in GMOP I also put a Made-To-Order for a matching earrings. They were ready a couple of months later. I immediately fell in love as I tried them on. BUT… my dearest SA also brought a pair of 3 motif Magic earrings in MOP, Onyx, and GMOP. And I loved them even more! They were just perfect. So I bought them and not my MTO.
Nevertheless I haven’t stopped thinking about the RG GMOP and later one regretted not buying both…
And suddenly I found a pre-loved pair of matching earrings in perfect condition which were even produced in the same year as my MTO. Of course I could not miss this opportunity this time.
