Well I think I tried : MOP GMOP onyx and MOP GMOP chalcedony and also the TE / carnelian… but my heart goes to the onyx combined one 🥰. I hesitated to capitulate to the MOP RG MTO or all malachite MTO … but no I cannot forget the onyx / MOP one so I wait (and wait 🤣…). I also thought about SO one if they allow SO again but I couldn’t think of any combination I am sure to love. Hammered wouldn’t look good in this type of necklace nor guilloché. I also loved the pave but too high priced so not possible 🤨
Did you think of a SO combination?

Thank you everyone for the kind comments. I’m so glad to be able to add the 20 motif in my collection. It goes with my pave Alhambra earrings, pave Alhambra pendant, and rg hammered 5 motif. I’m definitely a rg girl. I haven’t worn her out yet but here is a pic of when I first got her. I feel like the 16 motif and 20 motif are two completely different looks.

I have the onyx/MOP/GMOP and it is worth the wait. The MOP will be somewhat similar but I am sure gorgeous in RG. Malachite would be absolutely stunning in the 6 motif but one thing that has always kept me from ever buying anything in malachite is its upkeep. There are so many stories of people who are very careful having issues with it changing color or vibrancy. These are fun difficult decisions to make

Can I ask if you wear it ? But Anyway I love so much the look and design I still would like to get one and see. I love my 3 motif earrings but unfortunately as they are too heavy for my earlobes it isn’t really possible to wear them often.

I dreamily imagined a lapis pave six motif but I don't know if it would be too much?
I think the color you want will be very wearable; however as someone who is very sensitive to weight, it does get heavy sometimes so I recommend wearing it in the store for a little bit just to make sure it doesn't bother you.

I do wear it quite a bit. I saw pictures posted by @A bottle of Red and @880 wearing them casually and with different necklines and I decided to get one. I love it so much and since I wear a lot of neutrals, it goes with everything I own. I love the larger motifs and the asymmetrical design. My daughter thinks it is my prettiest VCA piece.

I just returned from a trip to Paris and, or course, a visit to the flagship store at Place Vendome. I saw the current Heritage exhibit, “Shades of Blue” and I highly recommend it. My SA helped arrange the visit as the exhibit is not open to the public. There are exquisite pieces with sapphires, lapis, chalcedony and turquoise. Several were paired with the original design sketches. Unfortunately, no photos allowed!

Shopping came next! I was thrilled to find two pieces that have proven hard to get—RG Pave Vintage Alhambra earrings and WG Perlee Diamonds pendant. No luck on the YG Perlee 1-row diamond bracelet, Chalcedony Rose-de-Noel pieces, or the Vendome Blue Sevres Alhambra Pendant. I tried on other pieces (Onyx/WG Pave Alhambra 20-motif; RG Letterwood Alhambra 20-motif; Blue Sevres/YG Pave 5-motif bracelet; and some high-jewelry watches and rings (just for fun). The Blue Sevres/YG Pave bracelet was very nice but I am holding out for the lapis version.

Now it’s time to play with my new pieces and see how they work with the rest of my collection.
