+1 on Buccellatti jewels (the SA in London told me I can easily mix and match with VCA… no wonder it is the same group) but everything looks so beautiful I have to decide.
Yes the opera and marci line are my fav and mix and match well with van cleef. I have the yg amazonite opera earrings and I pair with my Mala 5 Alhambra bracelet. I have worn the earrings with RC necklace too but requires the right outfit. I usually pair also with frivole ring and it looks nice with perlee line too. See so many options!
Sorry that the yellow sapphire didn’t work out for you liking. In that case, the all WG pave would work, but I feel you don’t love the idea and very expensive pair to get if you don’t love love them. Otherwise, I agree with @eternallove4bag, that the Tiffany knot or knot studs, both pairs are beautiful. I am sure there is something there that will fill the gap, we enjoy the process.

Lovely!! When re-sizing bracelets, do you select the same length or 1-2 cm larger/smaller so they can be stacked above/below other 5 motif bracelets?

The blue agate was resized to 16.5cm (my usual bracelet size) and WMOP was resized to 17.5cm. So yes, it’s a 1cm difference
it is very comfortable on me.
Finally went to pick up my eagerly awaited newest purchase!
As I previously mentioned, I was exploring Dubai Mall on my first full weekend last Sunday, and I decided to go to the Fashion Avenue boutique to try on some pieces. The plan was to wait until my next trip to Tokyo to pull the trigger, but in the meantime I wanted to make sure what I had in mind was the right choice.
My new SA wasn’t there that day, but I was assisted by a lovely lady in the meantime, and I asked to see the 10-motif necklace in Onyx to try it on for the umpteenth time. As I was playing with it, I happened to try my luck and asked, you don’t have any pieces in hammered gold do you?
“As a matter of fact, we have a piece on display if you’d like to try it on?”
I was flabbergasted. I was fully expecting a no, and when she went to go get the piece, I was expecting a 20-motif, or earrings - stuff that I wouldn’t have considered.
I nearly squealed with unbridled pleasure when she came back with a 10-motif necklace in Hammered Yellow Gold! I have to say, all thoughts of the onyx went out the window as I tried the hammered gold on! Here was such a sought-after piece and it was on display, and free for purchase! I couldn’t believe my luck!
But I wasn’t actually planning to make any purchases and here I was on my second day in Dubai already thinking about this! I ended up putting it on hold for 24 hours to consider it - only to rush back after work the next day to purchase it, and arrange for the necklace to be extended. I decided this was going to be my welcome to Dubai gift to myself!
I got the text on Thursday that it was ready, and I spent all of Friday willing the day away to get to the weekend!
It’s finally here! Presenting my newest love, the 10-motif Vintage Alhambra necklace in Hammered Yellow Gold!
I am so in love with this necklace - I can foresee my poor single pendant being neglected for a while… I’ve adjusted my Tokyo wishlist too!
