My first VCA pieces :love: (maybe not my last? This is dangerously addictive)
—a yellow gold Guilloche pendant and a yellow gold Guilloche 5 motif bracelet (accompanied by my Love bracelet)

My SA does not seem bothered by scratches on her own yellow gold bracelet (she showed me) also stacked with other bracelets and remarked ‘‘jewelry is meant to worn and enjoyed, the scratches will happen, some will mind, some are not bothered by it”

I have the same set but can't het over myself and wear it only for occasions. I have a elaborate rg and yg hammered set and wear that or carnelian for every day. My sa said the same but I just couldn't lol

I just picked up my guilloche bracelet today since it had to be resized (so today is the 1st day of wear) but I have been wearing my guilloche pendant 24/7 since I bought it November 7 , 2024 because I am crazy in love with it haha

Absolutely beautiful! There's nothing like yellow gold guilloche pieces, I always stare in admiration when I see them irl.

I took a shower with my white gold guilloche and it seems to me that it has become much less shiny, even though I wiped it and no chemicals came into contact with it, only water. Is this a psychological thing or does water really take away the shine of the first layer?

There might be some build up either from hard water or just shower products. Did you try to rinse it in distilled water and a drop of dawn dish soap and dry with a lint free cloth?
