Hi everyone...this is a thread for everyone who wants to share more details about their favorite style jeans! Please post pics!! I'll start...my favorite style at the moment are a wider leg with some visual interest, such as strategic placement of seems to create a look, so it's not just a basic jean. An example of this are the Sid jean by Tibi, the Lasso jean by B-sides (I have these), and these Zara jeans (I have these as well) that remind me of the Sid jeans but a lot more affordable. Here they all are:

What are the Zara ones called out of curiosity? Wondering if there’s a darker wash

They are the darted balloon jeans:

They only come in bleached wash at the moment. Hoping more colors come out. I had to go up a size on these to achieve that relaxed chill vibe. My normal size did button up but they were a smidge too tight. Ironically, I ordered 2 other pairs of jeans (different styles) at the same time...the other 2 I had to send back because they ran too big, so I downsized in those.

Thank you! I ordered a pair to try as well as a pair called the mid rise taper jeans that look like a similar style but cropped. Since I’m short maybe they’ll work? Maybe not - Zara jeans definitely aren’t kind to me but I figured I could try!

Sids came in and they’re a no from me. The biggest issue, like you mentioned @Antonia , is that I don’t get the pooling and they just end up looking like jnco jeans on me. These are the petite, and I feel like if I go to regular the whole area around my spare tire is already made for someone taller than me…it won’t work. They’re going back (and my wallet breathes a sigh of relief, and my curiosity is satisfied)!

Yup, this is how they fit on me too and the whole point is so that they're longer. I almost want to go up a size from my normal size, just so I have options on different ways to wear them...but the price...and now that I have my Lasso jeans, they kind of satisfy that. But IF I ever do see the Sid on sale anywhere, I will give them another try!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the photo!! I would love to know though how the Zara jeans work out...please keep me posted!! I hope you have better luck with those!!

I’ve got a very short body, zero hips , and legs that are very , very long..

I very recently bought J Brand photo ready Maria jeans in Bluebird in 24..

I haven’t tried them on at home yet so no pic, only in store.
Yesterday I went to Harrods and saw Spanx pitch black clean jeans in XS which I’ve ordered online.

I’ll compare the 2.
My only other jeans are Samurai Geisha jeans from 2021, which are brilliant quality although still too big, despite my dubious washing..

I May return one of the new pairs, but I really struggle to find jeans that fit because of my narrow hips and leg length(I used to have 3x1 bespoke 21” or 22”/34”!)
Also 3sixteen + fit me but with a customs charge work out very expensive as do Roomten Kuroki bespoke.

Tbh jeans buying can be a nightmare..
