Have you checked the pricing thread? That is usually the first place to look for pricing and it is typically updated regularly. I doubt posters intended to ignore or be rude, oftentimes it is best to DM if you felt your post was overlooked.

It would be really nice if posters in this thread also did update the pricing thread. There's not a lot of information there, especially on bags that aren't sold online, and therefore people have to post asking price questions. If we have 66 pages of 2019 bag offers here, that's a lot of data

Great idea. Can you share the link? I never look at the price thread here because it’s too cumbersome. I always look at bragmybag but they don’t have everything. You have to extrapolate a bit.

I think this was a wise move. I love Tadelakt but it is very delicate. I do NOT agree with the SA that it is tougher than Box. The striations in the leather are also not for everyone's taste.

Why is this bag so expensive? We were told it is because of size 35. Or is it because of Tadelakt leather? I saw in the pricing thread a K28 black gold hardware in Epsom or Togo would be around $10900? Or is Sellier more expensive? If we can specify the leather, which leather for black would be our best option if this bag gets used for relatively formal occasion - at least for going to dinners? I want a leather that is relatively durable so she would not worry about using it. Thanks! you guys have been so helpful. I have a busy working wife and I have to help manage her wardrobe and it is not easy for a man.

I think this is not the right place to go into it. You should go to the pricing thread wherever that is. Searching is cumbersome on tpf. But in general price depends on size and leather and yes sellier costs more.

In my experience sellier is not just a little but much more expensive; Tadelakt is more expensive than Togo (Togo usually more than Epsom); and size 35 is two sizes up from 28, so much more leather and hand stitching.

In my experience sellier is not just a little but much more expensive; Tadelakt is more expensive than Togo (Togo usually more than Epsom); and size 35 is two sizes up from 28, so much more leather and hand stitching.

I think best thing is to ask SA about the prices. They will be able to find out most updated price for the bag you are searching for. It doesn’t mean they are committing to give you the bag. It’s a retail store, they should have price tag

Birkin 30 nior box phw - no because of leather and size. It also looked like it was a returned...
Kelly 25 Nior Sellier epsom phw - almost but no because of hardware.

I prefer true gray with no brown undertones. My B35 Etain in togo is a true gray with now brown. Does anyone have Etain epsom from recently and can you comment if it has any brown undertones?
