Haha. I do not think so. My SA said the 25 was still there. I think things come in batches. Congrats on your beauty as well.

My wife and I visited our store 2 hours away last Friday. A K35 sellier in red happended to be on display. It is too big as my wife wants a K28 in black. I wonder if it was meant to offer to us although they knew it is not what we have in mind. It is a beautiful bag in a leather I am not familiar. Similar to box but more scratch persistent and told as 'vintage' leather. Hard to pass such a beauty. But wife was afraid accepting this one will lose her chance to get her dream bag. So we did not buy it but bought other items we went there for. Hope her dream bag will show up soon.

But the color In Tadelakt is even richer, more vibrant than in Epsom, and has a glow to it. It looks just like Box but not as stiff. It is the bag of my dreams and I accepted the offer. First picture was taken outdoors and second picture was taken indoors.

SA confirmed it is a Sellier K35 Rouge Vif in Veau Tadelakt leather. We can still have it. Can anyone share your knowledge on the Tadelakt leather? How does it wear in frequent use? Is it very prone to scratching and finger prints like Box? Hard to find more information by searching. I am new here. Also for a lady 5'4", is it too big in spring and summer clothing? Originally decided on K28 is the right size for her. Jumping to 35 is unplanned. Thanks!

Wait for a 28. A sellier in 35 is going to be quite large, imo.

K35 sellier is a big bag. With an overcoat, I can understand how it may not have looked overwhelming. I would hold out for a K28 as it will work well day to night. Sellier 35 would be very large to carry out to dinner etc. Keep in mind that the larger the bag the more prone to corner "bumps" which should be avoided with sellier.

I'm 5'6" and consider K28 sellier the largest I would attempt. However, to each his own. With Hermes it is always tempting to jump on something unexpected because offers sometimes take awhile. I personally would wait for the "right" bag. Good luck! Keep us posted....

Thanks for the advice. SA assured me today we will still be offered the black K28 even if we purchase this bag. She estimates that offer will not happen until later this year anyway. So it is up to us to decide. So we can have this bag if we want to. It is a gorgeous bag. Very hard to walk away from it. It is also true K35 will not be an everyday bag for this size. I am also concerned with the Veau Tadelakt leather for its scratch proning issue. Reading some of the Tadelakt threads, it seems the feelings are fixed: it is a very beautiful smooth leather but also not as scratch resistant as pebbled. So We have tonight to decide if we want it. It is hard. We might just have to let it pass?

Let it go. A red sellier k35 will visually look very big. Your wife will always think it’s not the one she really wanted
