Hi! I have this exact bag and love it. I wasn’t particular about the hardware and actually preferred PHW as it makes the bag feel more casual to me. I have other bags with GHW and RGHW. I agree with the others - if you want GHW wait for it. It will come in time! Good luck with your decision. :)

Not sure how she was offered but with me, I tell my SA either B or K and the size and she reads me the shipment list. It’s not an offer per se, but I can pick anything I want , from about 10-12 bags off her list. The bag I pick is guaranteed mine and it usually arrives the following month.

It takes time. Stay a good customer, preferably with one SA at one store, don't sell your bags, buy across departments, don't ask for transfers. You get offered multiple bags but normally have to choose and stick to your quota. Still a relevant reply to bag offer thread I think.

Wow so they have a shipment list? I got the impression the deliveries were random surprises and once arrived, they would select on for you. Do you know how far in advance they have visibility?

My SA offers to transfer in stuff for me all the time. I asked her would she prefer I make my selection from the store and she said no. She gets commission on transfer-ins too. Do you think it makes a difference? Sometimes I just want a rouge CDC that’s only showing up on another store inventory. Lol

I would go with what your own SA recommends. Each store may have a different way of doing things. From my own experience, I try to be a reasonable customer, never decline my search or transfer requests = better chance of multiple offers.

I think you are being allocated a bag from their PO buy list.

Not sure how selling your bags affects bag offers. How would SA even know?

Agree. And I don't see how asking for a transfer (or being offered transfers) affects one's ability to get offers either. My store has gotten bags transferred in multiple times.

They have a shipment list, but when the bag is scheduled to arrive, they are not 100% sure when... but it will. I know recently, when I was offered the black b25 touch, it showed up in the May list and arrived in July. I declined that offer cuz I had a change of heart, per my previous post. Now I am waiting for a Black KP croc and it showed up on the August list.

Also, they don’t select for me because they know I am picky and straightforward so they let me select.

I think SAs usually know about their picky and push over clients..lol
During my homeware search my sweet SA transferred so much stuff from the Toronto store, which I didn't end up buying and I still got the rarest bag to come by in Canada!
