I am In love with this color. I am Also a GHW Lover, but I actually think Magnolia with PHW is perfect! There is a crispness to the PHW that tones down the magnolia just a notch. Whereas maybe gold might be a bit too much in your face.

I completely understand, I am 95% of the time a GHW girl. I find some colors look great with either GHW or PHW, and Magnolia and Rose Pourpre definitely look great with either, at least IMO.

I have a boxcalf C, which is easily damaged too. I’m always checking for new scratches, but nothing too big so far. As long as I’m the one knicking the leather, I don’t really mind the imperfections.

I say go for it! Heritage leathers are so rare to come by and it’ll definitely be a special piece in your H collection :)

Ohh, I am so like you that I love ghw most of the time. And I do think bright colors with purple undertone somehow look crisp clean with phw, judging by the online pics at least. My sis just made a SO with RP, and although she is definitely a ghw person too, she picked phw for it.

My SO is in BN with ghw. I actually turned down a K28 in BN because it was in phw. I personally much prefer BN with ghw as it brings out the blue in this color. Hope you get your dream bag very soon!

Yes, I agree. All my bags are ghw except my bamboo KP. I also love Blue Zanzibar and gold/barenia/etc with phw. I am expecting a RP K with phw in the spring (hope I love it!)

Lift the horizontal clasp only at the metal. And make sure your nails are short? I have this exact bag (and Box/ Swift/ Doblis/ Ostrich Cs) with no issues and anyway Barenia is going to mark somewhere, somehow.

Having been offered several RP bags with PHW, I think you will be happy! Love this color, no idea why none of the bags so my heart....
