I did once pay 16kUSD for a slightly used Kelly 28 in black (I know..I’m a sucker[emoji17]). But I would never pay that much from a non reputable reseller. This was before I decided to build a relationship at Hermes. [emoji85]

:wtf::wtf::wtf:

you could buy two B25's or B30's with 16K in Europe - but I get it.

@Ting Jiang Keep the B25. I'm sure she'll have her outings with you. It's a classic, I always find it heartbreaking when people sell these bags. I love them too much, and only buy what I know works out for me. :love: If it ain't love at first sight, she won't come home with mommy. :blah:

I’m hoping to get at least 17k back for it since it is brand new and has everything (receipt, box, plastic lining still on hardware). Is it easy to sell it on fashionphile? I hear those websites take a huge commission cut. Thanks for the advice!
Just a reminder in case you don't already know. Buying and selling on the open forum is not permitted here.

I just got the B 25 in Black Togo! I got the bag just a few days ago and the new Hermes bags have a C date stamp. I believe that’s their newest stamp! While I do love it, I’m thinking a K might suit me better because it has a shoulder strap. Does anyone know where I can go to sell it? I went to a consignment store but they were seriously low balling me and there was no way I could let it go for the prices they were offering. Especially since it was brand new and never worn. I saw used Hermes bags selling for more than they were offering online! Any help would be appreciated :smile:
No offense to consignment stores owners but they are simply ruthless with their low-ballingn tactic. I would stay away from them entirely....

You can probably get the most if you send it to Ann's fabulous finds. They usually quote better than fashionpile on new Hermès bags. You can possibly make a few hundred dollars on top of what you paid. That's most you can possibly get unless you sell it on your on.

I am just curious.. can you return it to the store you bought it from? Or did you buy it while traveling, or from a reseller? I personally hate selling things (with all the ebay horror stories etc). If I had to sell, I would rather lose some money and cut my losses with a site like fashionphile or anns. If I had the option I would return it back to the store so another one of their clients can be ecstatic for a HG. I have returned coveted items because I was in love with the idea of the item more than the item itself, luckily it was with in the allowed return period.

I may get flamed for this but.. and maybe regret posting this...
Is your question how to get get your purchase price back or how to profit from the "rarity" of the item? Your post highlights how NEW the date stamp is and overall unused quality of the item.
