At $995, someone might be willing to gamble.
At 3,995 - I don't think she wants to sell the bag.
Either that, or I need to ask her, is it nice when you are living in CrazyTown?

It's really odd because in my experience Linda is a great ebay seller with truly reasonable prices. Her "stuff" sells because it's priced so well (I have bought designer clothes from her over the years and been 100% happy) and, again in my experience, always in good condition. On top of that, she's a genuinely nice woman. I think perhaps she just doesn't know Hermes (although she should at this point). Years ago, she'd listed a bag that was clearly a fake, and I emailed her and told her this, and the clear reasons why I thought this, and she was horrified and removed the listing. Anyway, it's surprising that she would price a bag in this dreadful condition this way!

Moi aussi!!Is it supposed to be a plus that it was her bag that is so trashed?

Seriously, I would be embarrassed to admit I did that to a bag, especially if I was a public figure of sorts?! She should list it for $1000 and donate a % of the money, at least that way, maybe someone would buy it for charitable reasons but $4000 for that disaster?!

I think the bag can be saved, except for that panel that looks like it's peeling, but a) it's pretty old as well as being trashed and b) that's probably a good $2K of repairs to get the bag wearable. So this price is just silly. I would think the consignor is probably setting the price as I concur that Linda is lovely and usually very reasonable.
