Serious shortage of canvas pieces

LV phased out a lot of Ebene and Macassar for men. Us boys are out of luck getting much from those lines.
I don't believe LV would ever fully do away with canvas, and season after season they show their commitment to it. However, just this week when I went to the LV store, they had no canvas on display except for the personalization section, and when I asked for SLGs they showed me none. I didn't even insist on canvas, I just asked for any SLGs (I was trying to buy something extra to go with my bag). I don't know if it was just my SA or what, but some definitely seem keen to only push the expensive leather bags vs anything else.
Canvas will never phase out. It is iconic Vuitton, and what they are known for. They may as well close shop forever if they do that. Can buy leather from every other designer.

Macassar was stunning, big mistake on their end...
Right? I’m not the biggest monogram fan but Macassar is stunning and the burgundy interior is fab
At some point the CEO had said in an interview that if LV wanted to boost their sales they would just present more monogram pieces but they want to increase their sales in leather as well. No one said that they will stop producing canvas pieces and most of their “limited edition” collections are canvas (Eg the jungle now).
In any case, canvas is more approachable to people and therefore sells faster and that’s why it is on shortage atm.
Also the whole production in Europe is on vacation period and yes, during summer, the production drops ie more pieces in shortage.
I would suggest to just wait a few months like the rest of us

I was just thinking about this! Wanting something to replace neverfull and the options are really limited. Only thing that works is the NeoNoe. I was thinking of holding off until the spring releases and hope they will release a new design. I feel there were more options 5-10 yrs ago. Anyone know when the spring designs are released?
I'll never say never but the canvas is what drew me to LV. I have tons of leather bags already, I don't need LV for that.
