I'm not very comfortable in SR shoes, so I've never been drawn to them.

But I do despise it when a fairly established and reputable house copies another's designs blatantly. Designers are "inspired" by each other all the time and they can't avoid the classics resembling each other, but an entire line of shoes that closely resemble another designer's? Ugh. I think it completely takes about the reputation of SR to do something like that. Steve Madden, Nine West, Oh Deers? Fine. That's the business they're in. They're shoe MAKERS, not shoe DESIGNERS, which SR is... or at least claims to be. So sad!

I saw the shoes being premiered as they were still on display when I went to Saks over the weekend during my trip to NYC. They were reminiscent of CL and one looked just like the Miu Miu maryjane! I appreciate the previous styles that are not similar to CL.

I learned the hard way that SR shoes are not comfortable. I impulsively bought their basic pump in the reddish/orange color from spring as they were the last pair. I then wore them out in the city after a long day on my feet and I could not believe how much they hurt. The pain was unlike any other.

Yes, I did! It is a good thing I do not live in NYC or else I would do nothing but shop for shoes all day long. I love the selection that Saks, BG and Barneys carry and I love that all the major designers have flagship stores and boutiques there. I would have to say that I was most pleased with the selections at Saks.

i get what you mean! i was at the shoe boutique and i saw a pair of bronze python sergio rossis that look exactly like CLs, for a second i thought they were CLs. holy cow!

I am about to buy a pair of eel Asha peep toe pumps with 4" heels (ouch!) and can't decide whether to order my normal size or half size up. I had a pair of Sergio Rossi shoes years ago but I can't remember whether I had to size up or not, I just tried them in the store, they fit and that was it.

Hey guys,

Do Sergio Rossi shoes run TTS? Does a 39 equal a 9 in US sizes? Also, are the shoes narrow? My feet are wider esp. in the toe-box area. Please let me know if you have purchased Sergio Rossi shoes before!

Sergio Rossi runs TTS for me. Be it wedges, platforms, or flats. I would go a half size up for pointy toes if your feet is wider in the toe area. And also up half size for patent closed toe shoes.

My Sergio Rossi sandals are incredibly comfortable (4.75 inch with a 1 inch platform). And very sexy. Never failed to get a compliment from men when I wear them.
