Hi all,

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I am looking to purchase the Sergio Rossi shoes Victoria Beckham has been pictured in (the ones she wore with white jeans and brown vest top). They are white-ish and have brown suede criss cross on front.

I am in the UK.

Thanks

Stacey

I don't know where you are located, but you could call the Sergio Rossi boutiques maybe to see if they still have them. I know there is one at Bal Harbour (Miami, Florida).

Also, you could try Saks, Neiman's, Bergdorf Goodman, etc.

LOL, sorry just saw you are in the UK. I used to live in London and I remember seeing one on Sloane Street as well. :)

Yummy shoes! Macy's carries Rossi in the US but I've never seen this particular pair, perhaps the buyers didn't purchase it. My guess is, boutiques are the only option.

Any luck my dear? I mentioned the Sloane Street location, and if you go to Sergio Ross' website you will see all the other locations in Europe so try those! I'm sure you will be able to find them in the UK.

I have no idea what the style name is as even Vivre just called them a suede platform sandal, but I'm sure the SA's will know what you are talking about when you describe them, especially since Posh was wearing them! :)

Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi,

Not had much luck yet, will need to make time to call the store! I am in Scotland so quite a bit away from London but maybe they could ship to me if they have them in stock?

I checked on the Sergio Rossi website and the store locator brings up (what I imagine) to be a picture of the one in London... and...I *think* I see the shoes on the shelf!!

Granted it may have been taken a while ago haha!

Will perhaps try to call tomorrow :-)

Thanks for all your help so far.. !

p.s I was wondering, is there a 'suggestions' part for the forum? It's just that on another forum I sometimes post on, if a member helps you etc, then there is a 'thanks' button. On the user panel part, the persons number of posts are displayed and underneath how many times they've been thanked.. might be useful for a forum like this... :)

Saks had a Sergio Rossi event at the shoe salon this evening, the designer Edmundo Castillo was there, and the new season shoes were premiered.
So I used to like Sergio Rossi shoes but after seeing the new collection, I am extremely disappointed. Every shoe was practically a copy of Christian Louboutin styles...and I don't mean influenced or inspired by Christian Louboutin, I think that they were exact replicas. Some of the styles that I recall: various bright colored eel skin decollete styles but SR shoes were done with an open toe, various nude patent shoes - exact same shade as the CL nude patent leather. Every shoe I saw just felt like a CL shoe to me. I even picked up a roccia python pump because I thought it was CL but then realized it was SR.
The one positive thing is that the pricing is fairly reasonable, they all ranged in the low $500s - $600s.
Unfortunately none of the shoes that I saw tonight are on the SR website yet.

Thanks for the report! I got the invite and really wanted to go to that event tonight but was way too tired this evening. I liked some of Sergio Rossi's designs last season (and last year) but for some reason his shoes are sooooo incredibly uncomfortable on my feet....at least every single pair I've tried on so far....my feet literally hurt from standing in them for 30 seconds (I guess it has to do with the different last/arch). SR patent is quite rigid unlike the soft patent that CL uses, and upon examining some SR shoes up-close I personally didn't find them to be of that high a quality (comfort-wise they are worse than Nine West/Steve Madden/Guess shoes on my feet). Style-wise though I actually quite liked the nude patent pointy-toed classic pump SR did last season (the one Cameron Diaz wore) as I couldn't find a point-toed CL nude patent pump in a reasonable/everyday heel height.....alas SR shoes are just too uncomfortable for me :(

I agree, some of the styles from prior seasons were on point (I loved the two tones ones Victoria Beckham wore a few months ago) but everything I saw tonight was pretty sad. I understand that CL is basically dominating the high end market now but it's probably not a smart business choice for other brands to just copy every concept.
I can't speak of quality or comfort, I only own 2 pairs and they have held up pretty well although I have only worn them a few times.
I guess the poor quality explains the so called reasonable prices.
