Well ladies.. After waiting for a entire month, this beautiful 02 oldie new/never used piece came with the mail yesterday. Photo doesn’t make justice. Just the softest nappa leather I’ve ever touched. Drapery and soo light!. Large size cutie with six pockets (three by side) and it’s mirror. Definitely, worth every € :love:

Found a suede cleaner set on Amazon from the brand Pedag which came with an eraser, a few brushes, and color restorer / conditioner. I’ve only used the eraser and brushes so far though. Pro Tip: Watching cleaning suede shoe videos on YouTube helped tremendously! LOL!

I fell in love with the color because of this gorgeous but waaaaay too expensive First on Vestiare…

I’m pretty sure I will someday buy a First but at this time I will use a bigger bag more often.

Wow this is a true beauty. I have the same bag in lighter deep red, and identical soft satiny leather but in this color it has another dimension

I wish I had seen these before I decided to return a recent eBay purchase I made
Last month, I made a spontaneous weekend purchased from one of those Tokyo resellers (where the same bag was listed by 4 different sellers) I could tell the bag was either dirty or faded or both and would need some work, but I wasn't prepared for HOW much work. I decided to return it rather than spend time & money to refurbish it, but after seeing this magnificent job you did on the black messenger I'm wondering if I gave up too soon (although I still think this bag was more faded/discolored than dirty)

This is the how the bag looked in photos included in the listing and a separate photo the seller sent to me (I actually got excited when I saw this 2nd pic!)

But THIS is what it actually looked like when it arrived :hrmm:
More grey or taupe than brown.
I wonder if that Pedag kit would have helped a little more than the suede brush & eraser I have (& tried using),

Oh my! The original photos look NOTHING like what the bag actually looks like. Horrible misrepresentation on their part. In this situation you would likely need the color restorer part of the kit which I don’t have experience with yet to see how well it works or if it would even work in an extreme situation like this. Lovin My Bags would be a great option if you were willing to pay the extra bucks to get it restored. In my opinion, I think you did the right thing by sending this back. So sorry you had a huge let down with this one. A better bag will come your way.

My perfect fall bag is here. The delivery was super fast and it came with a pack of extra tassels and also the tags were inside the bag. The leather is super super soft and silky… almost better than my 05 apple green.

The condition is really good, handles are almost perfect. The color is to die for and changes in different lights. It is a beautiful dark red Bordeauxy kind of color and screams fall. I think it will go with everything.

I am really happy with this bag. I hope that I am not too afraid to wear it.

Here are the pictures. She is currently empty but I will fill her and take her out later for school run.

What do you think?
