Is it safe to say my new weekender is men's? Handle comparison of Bordeaux and Pine:
Nah, don't think so. The men's WEs don't come with a mirror. And the HW is silver, I believe. I think the handle drop just got a bit more generous around 07. And your Pine baby was used, so the handles have developed some stretch.

Agree with ears about the mirror and pewter hw on the men’s WE. Also it would have a leather tag. But your Weekender couldn’t be any more beautiful, even if she’s a girl.

NOT sep/oct purchase but since this bag was posted I was searching for this color so much just to realize that my twiggy is IT . I have grenat and bordeaux and didn’t know which one is dark cherry snd researched reference library for years, colors etc etc and yes, my work is grenat and my twiggy is this amazing bordeaux/dark cherry/wine whatever else they call it and I LOVE it.The 08 Black Cherry arrived and the color does not disappoint. What does disappoint is my subpar photography. Getting an accurate picture is an ongoing iphone challenge as it seems the bag changes color with the slightest shift of light. She is really a rich burgundy that can transform into multiple shades of red or brown. I’ll be wearing her a lot this Fall.
