I did have the midnight striped willow in my basket. I thought long and hard & decided my recent oak willow purchase would age better. No way on earth I could buy both!

One thing to bear in mind at Selfridges is that they've really cracked down on their in-store sale returns policy.
I can remember a few years ago you could return for refund within 28 days, then it dropped to 14 days, then it became only exchange or credit note and this week I was told it was 7 days exchange only. Maybe the assistant got it wrong but if that's the case, it's hugely restrictive and would make it think twice about buying anything from them during sale when there are so many other shops with the same goods and better policies (or online).

Good luck. Hope you right. I am surprised Selfridges have done further reductions so quickly.
I thought that you got 28 days though if you ordered online. Distance selling regulations. It worked to my benefit a year ago when I ordered a new laptop with windows 8, which I hated, from John Lewis. For convenience, I had ordered online and picked up for free. I was able to take it back to John Lewis a week later for full refund, something I could not have done had I bought it in store.
