See - this is why I like sunglasses that hide my eyebrows...

glasses look nice on you. kinda look a little like jennifer love ... ;) glad the optician could fix it for you, they do the best jobs even though we're tempted to fix it ourselves, we shouldn't!

SO SORRY to "chew and screw" on this post last night ladies...DH needed the computer!

Are you sure you have one eyebrow higher? It looks to me like they could have adjusted that side higher as your ear, eye, and eybrow look to be lower - I think it is the glasses that need to be adjusted - your pupils are not centered either. What the issue probably is is that your ear is lower on that side - if the arm can be adjusted then that can be compensated for.

I totally agree...I'm actually going to go back to the optician (or rather, a different one) tonight as I need to swing by the mall anyway, and see if that side can be adjusted higher. (or the other lower...whatever..heheh) the glasses actually still feel crooked on my face...like, my eyelashes are brushing the left side, but not the right side. So I think they need to be adjusted again...

I know everyone here says no one else will notice...but *I* notice and it makes me uncomfortable.

Thanks for all the support though ladies - you rock!

Optical Dept told me it also has to do with your ears, one ear can sit a tad lower than the other making glasses look crooked. I have one eyebrow that shows too, but it isn't an eyebrow problem, but my crooked ears...lol

LOL.... they look great, but I understand what you mean. I look for glasses that cover my eyebrows completely... and I'm already conscious of the fact that my eyes are *kinda* two different shapes. DH tells me I'm crazy and they look just the same, but I can tell these things... (Maybe because we have to get in there and do detail work when putting on eyeshadow or something...)

Try to get them altered to make you feel the best about them... You won't wear them if they make you uncomfortable... Rock em out chicky!!! :rochard:

The glasses look great on you!!! I have one ear that sits a little lower than the other. My glasses have to be adjusted to sit straight on my face. My DH only noticed after 15 years when I pointed it out to him.

Don't worry about it, you look great!

The glasses are cute! I have a crooked face/eyebrows too. I mentioned this to someone, and they said it could be fixed by a good eyebrow wax. I got it done, and I was way way less crooked.

Oh me too! For some reason one eye doesn't open as wide as the other, so it looks like I'm always winking in a picture. Nothing is symmetrical on my face! I have the eyebrow problem too.

The glasses look great! Definitely keep them!

I have that one-ear-sitting-lower-than-the-other prob, too. I lovelovelove sunglasses so I got over that QUICK! :p

Besides, how many people go around checking out other people's faces to see how sunglasses fit them? I rather check out the purses people are carrying... :graucho:

I guess a lot of people have this problem. I have bad vision so when I dont wear contacts I wear glasses and when they look straight they always feel crooked to me. I am very conscious of it so I know how you feel. I am constantly checking them in the mirror and rarely wear eyeglasses. They truly do look great on you though!
