I think we are all finding it a bit dry on the finds.
I don't blame resellers at all as reselling has been around for such a long time. There is plenty to go round.
Maybe people are selling their own stuff instead of donating?

I was blaming the resellers on the increasing price of McQueen. Someone sent me a message board of a woman who found a McQueen skirt for $15 at a thrift store and she has the skirt up for sale for $15,000. That’s what I was complaining about.
Items which I used to see for $7-10 Im now finding on reseller platforms for $350-450.
Even saw a jacket originally priced at $220 which was still not too bad be bought and then relisted for $3000.

Was walking past a charity shop on Wednesday and spotted this book in the window and I recognised it as a book from my childhood. I have spend years trying to track it down but could not find it anywhere or even remember the name, so yesterday I went back and got it. So many happy memories. It was expensive, but worth it. It was £25 ($31)

So, I found the McQueen sunglasses, Wietzman cluth, burgundy Bottega, at the church thrift store. JUICY Couture at Goodwill, the Gucci at the Goodwill bins.

Wow, the Gucci! What's wrong with it? I almost bought a Gucci disco new during covid for $800. That's the lowest the price from a retail store I've ever seen. Since I didn't get it then, I decided I was never going to get one.

How wonderful to find something loved from your childhood! There's a book I used to read to my kids that I'd love to have again. It's still in print but not in the version I had.

The colors are fabulous. Childhood memories, and you were able to thrift a piece of it back.

Wow, the Gucci! What's wrong with it? I almost bought a Gucci disco new during covid for $800. That's the lowest the price from a retail store I've ever seen. Since I didn't get it then, I decided I was never going to get one.

It's dirty inside and the tassels need cleaning. Other than that, it's fine.
