I have slippage issues too, unless I wear the scarf much more across my forehead (but then I feel like a pirate or washerwoman). Where is a good spot to use hairpins or Hollywoodtape?

That is what happens to me as well! I´ll start practising with hairpins. Luckily it´s still winter so I have at least couple of months before it´s sunny and warm here.

Even if this thread has been inactive for several months, I try the same to leave here a question: I would like to tie my Hermès scarf (Jardins d'Andalousie) in the 'washerwoman' style, but I don't know how to do it. I've tried several times but nothing good came as a result. Can you please give some suggestions?
I post an Amy Winehouse pic for reference (the style I mean is like the one she's sporting in the pic, that is the same that Christina Aguilera had in 'Candyman' music video).

I think it is like this" make a triangle by folding over. Put the flat side of the triangle at your neck, pull the ends up by your ears to meet at the top you your head. THen tie at the top loosely, tucking the ends in along your face. Tuck in the rest of the loose ends and pieces as well.

I think it is that simple. Just don't try to be too neat about it, and it will look like Amy's.
