Your scarf is beautiful. Thanks so much for posting a mod shot of this scarf. I'm hoping to buy one off ebay. I too love the details in the design but was worried about the dead space on the borders.

Same worry I had. The borders are really wide so definitely no cowboy knot. Other than that, it's a quite decent detailed design. Show us when you get yours!

Apparently, Hermes had a pop up store in Munich (as well as Amsterdam and Strasbourg I believe) where Hermes carres could be brought in to be colored dip dye style. I love the idea and the video. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there. Here are some article links.

That was a mistake that I corrected in the last post, but since it's brown, I'll post it again here (it's just got a bit of a brown border with the eggplant, so I sometimes think it's more purple than brown -- though I see there's a lot of rust):
