My what yummy chocolates are being shared this week - and no calories LOL! I really didn't think I would have much to share, but then went to the tansu and pulled out quite a few favorites along the sepias, cafe and burnt umber hued silks.

Special tea stained silk - Calvacador (my darkest solid brown silk and has a very beautiful but stiffer texture; special edition Queen's Diamond Jubilee silk from dear friend across the pond); and various other silks including white Pegasus with brown sepia line art, Tsubas (a favorite vintage that I adore), Les Danses des Indiens, Guepards, aPdMoscou... I will try to model a couple of more.

So this week's theme challenged me and I went digging through my collection and I am not quite as brown challenged as I thought. I do have more scarves with brown......but as accents! Although the brown in Coup de Fouet and Papillions is more like a reddish acajou that counts, right?

Fleurs D'Ecosse
Parures des Maharajas
Coup de Fouet
Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus

Very pretty collection dear. Wish I had added a Coup de Fouet too but I overspent that year lol.

Thank you so much, dear Croisette!!

Thank you so much, Sammy!! :flowers: It's one of my favorites. Animals!!! :hbeat:

It's such a remarkable design. The two colorways are so different from each other, they don't even look like the same scarf!! :drinks:
Definitely +1!! :hugs:

Sammy, you rock this silk! White is fab on you too. Love those pearl drop earrings dear.
Thank you so much for your nice compliments, dear lanit!! :hbeat:

I do not wear this nearly enough. It's sorta between maroon and brown, depending on the lighting.

Spicy!

Here is another old design Chevaux des Moghols, original issued in 1993. I was debating on this scarf for a long time since it has a wide border which is quite blank to me. I prefer details in corners and borders. This one is definitely not in that family. But the details of the people and horses still attract me back to it again and again. :amuse:

Your scarf is beautiful. Thanks so much for posting a mod shot of this scarf. I'm hoping to buy one off ebay. I too love the details in the design but was worried about the dead space on the borders.
