It's been glorious seeing all the visual changes that can be effected with just a switch in a top. But this is also a very difficult week for me to contribute because I'm used to changing my SOTD every day. So, a very challenging theme - mind-expanding even (thank you, ABQ for pushing the boundaries  )

You've risen to the challenge and more, such lovely scarf/top ideas enhanced by the clever knotting!

Yesterday was my birthday. Today went to SF and stopped into H. This came home with me.
Tendresse feline in CW 09 stole mousseline. Has a very pretty green border. Not normally a cat person, but this CW is gorgeous!

This is divine on you , what a great colour way and versatile.Looks so cool with the striped top.
I tried the gorgeous blue TP mousseline, it's so dreamy but resisted as I've recently acquired a few older patterns. My previous forays into the format didn't work out, but I think I've finally got the mousseline bug…..

My new to me SOTD ZENOBIE, cw 17 turquoise/rosé vif/jaune

Hello everyone! No time to do the theme yet but here's my SOTD. Also, I want to post this because I finally figured out how to take a pic at an angle without double chin [emoji28]

What a gem,it looks so elegant on you
I was really looking forward to this week because I often feel like i struggle finding nice combinations for my tops and scarves, but have been swamped and barely had time to come and high 5 everyone!

Playing with Jeux de Paille, first with a lavender top, then with a striped one:

Love it on you Bunnycat and you underestimate your flair for finding great scarf top combos!

View attachment 3370932I am on theme, and proud of it! Please excuse messy hair etc....Here you have Coupons on a taupe tank dress, tiger lily orange tank top with LOTS of my voluptuous body, yellow tank top and "flagstone" tank top (looks like dark grey to me!). I think one of the background got in here twice because I was trying different knots. I showed the pictures to my husband who said "This is all the same scarf??!!". Which gave me the opportunity to point out just WHY Hermes scarves are so very valuable!

Fab scarf and tying , I agree it's a genius pattern for tying. But I was looking at your great skin and lovely smile !

Wow xincinsin you are very creative! I like all the pendant pieces..so bold themselves and with a scarf pairing, it is really special. I applaud your Styling! At the expense of being scolded for being off topic :lecture:...In the last picture with the green carved piece (jade?) What is the red necklace part? Is it knotted cord or beads? It's very striking..the entire piece!
Hi, essiedub. It's small coral beads in a basic right-angle weave. Very common in older jewellery made in China. My mum bought this for me from a friend's shop and was tickled pink to have bargained the price down tremendously. I wore the pendant hoping to pick up the green in the scarf.

Beautiful, Croisette7! Gorgeous cw and very out of my comfort zone, so I'll just be vicariously thrilled through you :D I've been eyeing the eggplant Zenobie since it was issued but something else always grabbed my attention when I went to H.

ABQ2ATL, perhaps we could have a week dedicated to scarves or cw that are out of our comfort zone? I noticed that many ladies here mention that they have been happily enabled to try scarves they would not otherwise consider.

And not only green (in the border) but also my second only Hd'O design (theme from previous week)- Special Ed. charity Tatersale for the Queen's 90 Bday

Future twins, papertiger :hugs: Your photos inspired me so much that I ordered one. But since I'm not based in the UK at the moment, the scarf has to be redirected halfway round the world to where I am now. It struck all the right notes for me: blue, 90cm, twill :smile1::smile1:

This is perfect on you! How brave to wear stripes into the boutique, but so practical. I almost always wear black, thinking the scarves I try on will look better. This shows how versatile your new moussie will be!!

Also Happy Birthday!

Great idea for a theme!

What I actually wore today. Paradis de soie on navy/ white stripe T.

Ok now that you have seen 2 scarves, same top. Sort of the opposite of this weeks theme. so here is another pic of the tendresse feline on a different top.

LOVE the mousseline on the striped top. (ditto on the black top). Ethereal colorway on the Tendresse. I am not familiar with the Paradis de soie would you post it flat?
Happy birthday scarf1

Croisette What a glorious colour palette on the Zenobie the mustard/gold is one of my personal favourites in Hermès and paired with the pink and turquoise it glows on you!

This scarf is so amazing in every CW. This one is fabulous on you!!

Thank you so much ladies!
frou frou, letting you know I just came back with MT aqua/vert/ocre! I couldn't resist,
your inspiration!:hugs:

These are beautiful on you and the way you've tied them, both look like different scarves. :smile1:

Thank you, CanuckBagLover! It's been an enlightening experience which I'm just masochistic enough to consider repeating with another scarf after seeing how merika, momasaurus, Pirula, bobkat and our esteemed scarf mistress rang their chameleon changes :worthy:. The info will come in handy if ever DH actually finds out the price of an H scarf :busted
