In general, soft greens and pastels and I are not often on good terms....but I do have a couple that fit this week.

Meant to post this one I wore yesterday, which has some very pretty spring green tidbits, and the overall effect is soft tones because its a plisse and also a mousse.

La Musique des Spheres

and then today a gavroche with plenty of soft greens and pastels...I didn't wear it for a while because of the pastels and thought I might be getting ready to send it along in to the wide world, but of course, now I love it again....

Carpe Diem (this one is the Carpe Diem version rather than the Gloria Soli one)

What I wore today, which happens to have green in it. Not a tender soft green but I'm squeezing myself in here[emoji16]

Hello Dear Scarfies!
I happen to have a weak spot for light greens, even if I dont get to wear it much.. it just sings to me...! :smile1:
Here a group photo of the some 90-Silks with different light greens... and one modeling one... (You know the names.... )
oh, and I almost forgot about the 140 DD... but you all have seen that one already...
Silky hugs!
P

Pegase you always look so handsome:hugs:

So much beauty dear silkies! [emoji122]🏻

I don't wear a lot of green, even though I should as it's very flattering. Here's some green from last week actually. Not pastel, but hey it's green.

Pirula me thinks you should wear green. It's smashing on you!

Bunnycat :hbeat: there you go again with your gavroche/scarf ring combo. I think I need to get this ring - seems so versatile, not fussy. (speaking of fussy rings, I've given up on the mors ring:tdown:I just cannot make it work :pout:)
Oh your plisse...hey I have this in the flat format. It's super-stiff. I like it in Plisse. As always, you look great!

Thank you for the sweet comments, frou frou, Hat Trick, Bova123, Croisette7, CanuckBagLover, MrsWasik, scarf1, peppers90 and Katherine Q.

And so glad to know that bunnycat and eagle1002us are fellow beaders!

As a person who occasionally does beading, I salute your skill and color coordination, xincinsin! I don't know how to make such earrings. Is a bit of wirework involved in those?

No wirework for this one except for the jump rings to attach clasp and ear wires. Most of the components were made on board dreary flights, so in lieu of needle, thread and scissors, I used fishing line meant for craftwork, acceptable solution in this case because the seed beads protected the line from getting cut by the much fewer crystals and bugles.

Back to topic, I'm wearing the necklace today as it goes with my other greenie: Bocage which I couldn't resist because the birdies remind me of Angry Birds :p

Aww-thank you essiedub! :hugs: Don't give up on your Mors ring! We're gonna have to have Mors ring boot camp! ;) I have a gavroche of this one also (a present I got for Mr Bcat) and it was super stiff too like they went crazy with the sizing or something. I washed it and now it is very soft.

Love it xincinsin! And the necklace is a statement piece! The crystal center pieces are larger than I was thinking!

This Bocage is great xincinsin! I am happy to see another color it came in. I have the one with the bright orange border.

A little tidbit of jewelry history: Figural pins like tigers and other animals were made for a while in the 60s with the front of the animal showing and also a bit of the tail and feet, implying that the figural was of the entire animal. (This style shows up both in fine and costume jewelry, and shows up now and then on ebay). Bocage shows this truncated effect. I like it for that as well as its whimsy and colors.

Thanks for explanation of earrings. They are nicely intricate.

So happy to be your Les Ailes twin croisette, enjoy NYC!!

Thank you for your kind words I love to look at this thread!

Les Chants Du Henne. I fell for this unusual cw: blue outline design on grey and pale green. And while I can't show you any hands with henna designs, I did make an Indian-inspired set of jewellery in the same greenish shades.

Beautiful scarf and I admire your jewelry. What cool creations and a lot of skills. Thanks for sharing.

It was created for a company gala dinner. I wore it with a salwar kameez that was dripping in sequins and gold thread, so the necklace had to out-glitter the outfit

So just one small off-topic photo ;)
