BJS, we think more and more alike -- or I'm discovering that we think alike! I too believe in well-rounded collections and love some of the the old patterns even when they don't come pristine out of the wash. This is really interesting -- how about a mod shot when you get around to it?
Sorry if I wasn't clear about the chiaroscuro colorway, Eagle -- it's not a particular scarf design, just a dark cw in several of the scarves this season. Look on the website and search by dark colors (e.g. violet) and you'll see some dark patterns. The cw numbers are all over the place so that's no help.
Look at the range of cws in Sieste au Paradise -- the darkest one (06) is a chiaroscuro, so is Hippopolis (03) and Zenobie (15) and Collections Imperiale (16) and Chasse en Inde (02) in the MT. Once you see a few, they're easy to spot.

I don't know why it's not on the US site any more, maybe just too confusing.
Here you go my dear scarf mistress haha. It's an archive pic as I didn't wear this today but it's how I normally wear my scarves.
Twins!!Wore mine today, love it so much.
Stupendous pictures!!!! And I didn't have any idea there were feathers on Mawari either. One of my favorite designs. I have two GMs, looking forward to multiples week on Sunday
With such cheerful blues and oranges to keep you warm, who cares that it's freezing outside?
Another handsome picture, Chris dear.
Spring 2014 I was at the Chicago H and had them hold this scarf and a few enamels for me while I ran across the street to have lunch. When I came back an hour later, the SA had SOLD the scarf! I was so mad.I turned on my heel and walked out without buying a thing. And then I never followed up on it when I returned home. But I do still like these darling, goofy-looking birds.
Thank you everybody for all the compliments! I so appreciate them!
Today wearing Ex Libris en Kimonos CSGM which I first profiled here. I love this shawl so much
I started out wearing it like this, because I thought the day was going to be fairly warm, but the temperature dropped mid-day and so I ended up winding it around my neck once. Happy I had it because it turned out to be a good day to be bundled up.

Very handsome, BJS! Is that a mustard-colored shirt? You know I'm all about the backgrounds, and that's a great one!

Yours has much more "fantaisie" in it than mine does haha!
Best scarf of S/S14!! I love birds and think these overly stylized ones are too adorable!

My SOTD had fans of feathers to my surprise: Les Parures du Vent.
More feathers from Marwari, Caraibes, Kachinas and Couvees.
And just for a lark, a mother of pearl carving with a phoenix, a bone cameo of a lady with a plumed hat, and the set of kingfisher feather jewellery which I wore for my wedding, displayed on a dark green top bought for a song in a Taipei market (puns all intended)
