Aww, thanks so much dear gals. It is just a bias fold and a regular ol' knot dear - I tie it on lower down, that is all, no mystery!

hclub- it was a surprise that the plume became available so I leaped for it! It is a marvelous rich grey and the toile is gris perle. I adore this combination, and have never seen it before now.

I'll bet you looked far better than anyone else waiting for their mammo pirula;) Which scarf is this...it is quite lovely on you :smile1:

You look awesome no matter how you tie this eternallove4bag!

You both look lovely today Lanit and hermes hope.

I found another new favorite way to wear my scarves today. My new Mai tai midnight blue fox collar arrived. Here it is with turnandot

Well Bova, I tried. Here's what you get when you do a Bova knot and it doesn't look right with what you are wearing. So you take it half apart and end up with a half-Bova, or perhaps a BunnyBova....

Knots are my favourite thing about scarves - actually to me knotting came first, Hermes scarves were a consequence, since I discovered MaiTai because I searched for knotting tutorials. So the theme of the week makes me come out of lurkdom again. And I am an avid lurker, but only at my phone and I suck at typing at that thing. So forgive me for not posting all the nice comments your inspiring pictures would deserve.

This is my excuse for flooding this thread with pictures ;). Sorry if some are a bit crappy :-s

One of my favourite ways to tie a square scarf is what MaiTai calls asymmetric wrap, starting from a W-shape. It shows a lot of the design, is very variable and keeps me warm and cozy:
I absolutely love these variations on the asymmetrical tie! Thanks for sharing. :woohoo:

That plume is definitely unique and gorgeous. Congrats! I imagine it looks amazing with most of your wardrobe too!
