You have a lovely collex- one to be proud of. The first decade I collected Hermes, it was at a rate of one per year, so I was very measured in my selections. Add at a rate you are financially and emotionally happy with. It's easy to see the scarves you have give joy, reflected in your smiles!

( off topic- Halcyon Days has an online sale on some of the bangles right now - I would link you but I'm being forced to the new US site, rather than the co.uk page- now back to talking scarves!!)

Ah, thanks so much for your lovely remarks. Yes, the scarves do bring me joy. I have a very hard life and they help to take my mind off the really horrible and difficult things that are going on. Saving up and planning my next purchase gives me something to look forward to. Then opening the parcel and seeing the wonderful colours!!!

Thanks also for the tip about Halcyon Days - nice of you to remember. It's OK, though, I buy all of their bangles in sales. I don't think I have bought any if my collection full price yet! I keep an eye on their official sales and also eBay etc.

I can't call them knots but I tried three different ways of draping my favorite shawl... I hope you like it[emoji173]️[emoji173]️View attachment 3249052View attachment 3249053View attachment 3249054

Fabulous draping and outfit eternal! You wear your H with such elan!

Just like a previous poster, I came to Hermes via MaiTai's lovely blog and I found her because I was searching for scarf rings when my Mum gave me a load of (inexpensive) scarves. I have been wearing scarves since my teens, but in rather boring ways. MaiTai inspired me to try different knots with the scarves I did have. Then I peeked at the Hermes website and fell in love!:heart:

After saving up for ages, I bought my first scarf, Promenade de Platon, in the Spring of 2014 and I have managed to get to 10 90s and 1 gavroche in two years - snail pace by the standards of many of you here :roflmfao:

I mainly wear (when I am not bedridden) jeans with cashmere jumpers or T shirts and I particularly love the asymmetric wrap. This know, IMHO, goes with just about any style and is so very versatile. You can tie it with or without a ring and it adapts pretty well to most of my scarves.

Anyway, I had intended to show each scarf in a different knot today, but this week has been very gloomy here and I have not managed to take new photos. So here are some archive pics:

Sorry if some of these come out sideways - not sure why that happens!

A lovely and superb collection of silks and they all work so beautifully on your complexion HH. Cheers!

Bunny, Pirula, Scarf1, Bova, Croisette, eternal, :ty:

Another gloomy day, but I am cheered in wearing my Metamorphosis silk in red. This one I came upon brand new in a consignment shop for a song. And my two new to me bags go so beautifully with it too. TGIF everyone !

Lucky you on securing both the scarf and two amazing bags lanit. I am trying to figure out how you tied this...it seems that just a bias fold tied in a double knot would result in longer scarf tails. So, did you first loop once around your neck and then secure the neck loop into your tying of the two tails?? It looks great and I like that it wouldn't move around and start tightening around the neck during the day, and the tails are not quite so long (which would be very helpful for me, as I am quite short and can easily become enveloped in a scarf or shawl, so shorter tails are always good in my book lol!).
